★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have known Dr. Simon Lee for almost two decades. He has always been very knowledgeable, effective, responsible and fair in his treatments of my skin issues ranging from keloids, warts and blemishes. He has never pressured me into any unwanted or repeat treatments, and often offers pricing concessions during multiple treatments for somebody who has to pay out of pocket. Dr. Lee is also very patient in explaining each underlying condition and potential root causes, as well as the alternative forms of treatment. it is also a nice gesture that he often gives out free samples of his plant-based skin care products (e.g. moisturizers, creams, facial wash, etc), which my family members happily use, endorse and purchase regularly. He does have many patients so sometimes there is a bit of a wait time (e.g. within 15-20 minutes of scheduled appointment) but the wait is worth the quality and care of the treatments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience with my visit to Dr. Simon Lee.
I waited in the sitting room for 15 minutes firstly which was not too bad. Then, he came and led me to the patient room. In less than a minute, he prescribed a cream for my skin problem without telling me what it was ( I knew it was Eczema from my family doctor and my Chinese herbal doctor's examinations). Then, he insisted that I need the ultra violet light treatment and he kept emphasizing that the first 5 treatments will be free, paid by the Ontario government even though I told him I was not interested, twice.
He then tried to scare me that if this is not cured completely, the next time it happens, it will be worse. He sounded it like once its cured completely, it will never come back as if he knew the root cause of Eczema.
Then, he insisted to do a demo for me. My understanding was it was a demo and should be free. Unfortunately, his assistant let me put on an ultra violet plastic glasses which costed me $20 dollars , of course, it was cash with NO receipt.
The most funny thing was, I was told that I had my first ultra violet treatment !!! I told his assistant that it was supposed to be a demo and it only lasted for seconds. She told me that it lasted for a fat 35 SECONDS....So, the government paid for it I guess.
I will certainly NOT go back for the remaining 4 treatments and already told my family doctor that all Dr. Lee probably wants are those patients who will take his cosmetic laser surgery or these light treatments that lasted for seconds, may be minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been seeing Dr. Simon Lee since 2009 for eczema. Prior to 2009, I have seen four other specialists thorough my childhood to adulthood, and no other doctors provided as much detailed care to my chronic skin condition as Dr. Lee.
Dr. Lee is an extremely knowledgeable, very passionate and caring dermatologist. He explains the pros vs. cons of the treatments he proposes (whether it be topical application or oral preparation). He takes his time to discuss the potential benefits, possible adverse effects, and he provides relevant current evidence for the proposed treatment options. This helps me reach an informed consent to treatment. He is also very welcoming of questions and clarifications when I have any uncertainty about my skin conditions or options. For example, I recently requested to resume phototherapy after weighing the pros/cons of this therapy after trying other topical and oral therapies.
Dr. Lee displays very professional and empathetic attitude that makes me feel comfortable in discussing some times more embarrassing skin problems. He does not make any judgement, and he appropriately probes for further testings and diagnostic tests (such as ordering the appropriate blood tests) and giving reassurance in giving a new treatment to me (such as never having had cryotherapy done before).
Yes, Dr. Lee has a busy clinic, but he takes his time and effort to help his patients. He gives his patients attention, confidence, dedication and professional care. I am very grateful to have encountered Dr. Lee, and would recommend him to my family and friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a recently graduated from high school, and almost embarking on a journey that is university, it was very important for me to be confident in my personal image. Dr. Simon Lee provided facial care products that really helped with my acne issue. The benefits were evident after just days of using the face wash and skin brightener cream. However, the most significant improvements came after using the products daily for a week. I now feel confident being in pictures and approaching new people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Simon Lee helped my 3rd son with his acne problems. He helped my 2nd son with his wart on his hand. He also helped me with a skin problem. He is a very patient and caring doctor. I highly recommend him as he was able to clearly explain what was the problem for each of the cases and causes. He is a doctor that is straight forward and even tell you what the government will and will not cover. I highly recommend him for anyone who has a skin problem.
Only down side is that he will not take any new patients without a referral from a doctor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Simon Lee is a very patient and caring doctor. He is good at skin disease. Not only that, he spotted that I had Hernia when he was examining the rashes on my thigh and body three years ago. I later had a surgery to fix it. I appreciated his detailed and caring examination as well as his advice.
Recently, I had a visit to his office on some skin problems on the face. He explained to me in great details and the options available. After treatment, some of the problems had improved and gone away.
I have no hesitation to recommend Dr. Lee to anybody who has skin problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Simon Lee is very knowledgeable and helpful. He looks after various issues for my family. The staff has been very accommodating to our needs in terms of scheduling appointments when there were more urgent needs. The clinic is always busy, reflecting his treatment being effective. Sometimes we have to wait a bit; however, I always notice that many patients insist to get in even without appointment and his staff try to accommodate as much. Well, it's difficult to balance the wait and offering help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually don't write reviews, but with the experience I had with Dr. Lee. I just couldn't resist. Dr. Simon Lee is the worst, you tell him your concerns and he doesn't even address the issue. If your family doctor refers you to him. I would ask for another doctor that cares. He rather listen to himself talk and he wants you out in 5 minutes or less. He kept telling me that the treatment it's working. I told him that I think it got infected because it was really red and swollen. It was hurting a lot. He said to me it's fine now. I would never go back to him.
