About Dawson Wallace Construction Ltd.
Dawson Wallace Construction was founded in 1987 by Peter Dawson and Wayne Wallace. The first year in business concluded with a total volume of $1.9M and 3 employees, including Peter and Wayne. By year two the volume had tripled to $9M; the company continued with steady growth in the years following to become one of Canada’s largest construction firms.
Our Calgary office was established in 1996 and in 1998 Myron Grunsky joined as Partner and leader of the Calgary operations. In 2007 Leroy Grunsky joined the Partnership after 10 years as a Project Manager and now provides senior leadership in our Edmonton office. Under Myron’s guidance our Lethbridge branch opened in 2015 with Sharon Dawson as Branch Manager.
Our Vancouver office and Victoria operations were established in 2019 to service our current projects and clients throughout British Columbia with a focus on the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. Senior personnel in our offices and sites actively participate in the mentorship of upcoming generations in order to provide them with the knowledge and tools required to continuously move the company forward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I can't comment on the product, I've seen more than one of their trucks (or maybe it's the same one) driving like a-holes. Blocking intersections, cutting people off. If that's how they treat people when driving, I can only imagine their attitudes toward customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fiancé was injured on site working for these guys and the company didn’t follow the right safety steps at all and got him to fill out a WCB form, telling my fiancé not to worry about getting fired or anything and got him to sign some more forms and a witness report, then decided to let him go right after he submitted the forms! They won’t pay him his pay cheque on-top of that leaving us broke and of all things we have a two year old daughter to feed and look after! Thanks to a few good friends they lent us some money to get us by until my fiancé got a new job! This company is dirty and will screw anyone over just so they can keep an extra buck for themselves! Letting the hard workers go and keeping their useless drunks that come in still half cut on site! The only reason they did this to us was because they had made far too many mistakes already and it’s all on their record, if anymore occurs the contract will be pulled from amazon, which is worth a pile of money! I’m a strong believer in karma and this company will get what they deserve! Do not work for these guys or hire them to do any work for you, they will screw you right over! The Alberta workers board is aware of this and we will be contacting global trouble shooter because they are pulling some illegal stuff here, not just to us but they are cutting corners big time building this amazon building outside of Nisku that is hazardous!
