Every time we go back home to the USA we use it for our medical coverage, as AMS GSS doesn't cover trips to a student's home country. Gwyneth and David are super responsive - oftentimes we forget to get our insurance until the day before we leave, and it's never been a problem. I also love the way Gwyneth always takes extra time with us - I never feel rushed, despite the fact that I'm rushing them. It is the epitome of excellent service. Highly highly recommended.

At UBC, we have a large population of new international students every year who are under the iMED coverage provided by the DCIS. I have been constantly impressed by their high quality services, enthusiasm and professionalism. They make every effort to support students in every way they can in the timely manner. Their staff is always friendly and efficient with attention to details. I particularly appreciated that they really care about their clients. Sometimes a student was hospitalized and I went to visit, I saw DCIS general manager Jason Cummings and his staff in the hospital with the student as well. Their genuine interest in supporting students who are new to Canada touched my heart. Because of their outstanding services and expertise, DCIS has been selected by UBC to provide temporary health insurance services for its staff, faculty and students for many years.

Our company has used their services for the past 8 years and no matter what the issue has been with our medical insurance provider, DCIS has been a strong advocate for resolving issues. I am a type one diabetic and use our medical insurance each month to meet my health needs. There has never been issues due to the support DCIS has given. A few years ago, I asked DCIS to challenge the maturity coverage of my wife's pregnancy. DCIS was quick to respond and was able to gain a better resolution that I expected. I used DCIS services four times in the past three years. The insurance plan provided for international students whose MSP wasn't processed in time, was very reliable. After I was done with my program, but my work visa hadn't been processed, DCIS provided insurance when MSP ended. DCIS also offered travel insurance. I had a complicated itinerary with several stops in different countries, but Jason Cummings took a lot of his time (even though I was there very spontaneously with little time) to call different insurance providers around the world. Thank you DCIS for the great service!!!
