Still winter and 7 degrees last week I’d left it in the car as I made a pit stop before delivering the intended gift of chocolate. I was shocked to discover it had melted into the cello wrap. When I returned to inquire the clerk didn’t give me even the courtesy of finishing my sentence. They carried on with a second client but threw excuses at me talking over the other customer. Saying, ‘see how hot it is in this window? I had to close the blinds by noon today’. Your car must have been hot’. Sadly the chocolate I bought was also standing in the suns rays thru the window before I purchased it but I had not even considered this to be a problem being winter. I then spoke with the manager the next morning hoping to be treated with respect but he also condescended to me without being willing to consider any part of taking responsibility for cheap set chocolate let alone presenting it in a sunny window. When I returned to pick up the item (for the purpose of showing this here but there is no ability to do so) I politely thanked him and said,’ sadly your business is Under Calliber (pun)’. I am a small business owner of 20 years now and I would never dream of treating my clients with the lack of dignity I experienced at Bernard Callebeat Kelowna.

We have always heard wonderful feedback on the presentation and quality of their chocolates. The staff are always very helpful and genuine. We love them & are all addicted to their sea salt varieties - so delicious!

Waited a half hour for the store to open (message on the phone said Saturday they opened at 10 am) before giving up and leaving because the store was still locked up tight. Watched several people try the door before leaving as well. Wasn't impressed and won't be back. Why advertise your store hours if you don't actually keep them?!

Dude, a bad review is an opportunity to do better. Just accept it gracefully and move on instead of making yourself look silly… Original review: Absolutely awful customer service. Ran there after work so I could quickly grab a box of milk chocolates to send home for my dad only to have the man who appears to be the owner (?) clearly unimpressed by the fact that 4 people had come in around 515 (they close at 530) during the busiest time of the year. I asked him what type of chocolates were in the “assorted boxes” and he replied “everything you see here” flatly. So I asked him if I could choose my own and he said “well yes, but we close at 530”. I told him it was 520 and I didn’t see the issue. His rude attitude completely turned me off of buying his overpriced chocolates and I told him why I was leaving and walked out. I’d rather give my business to Annegrets or Karat Chocolates who are always lovely and appreciate their clients, as well as offer an amazing selection of handmade chocolates.
