★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a massage on Sunday, October 11. A day before I made a phone call to book an appointment and asked if they can direct billing to my insurance as I would have a massage with an RMT. The lady who booked an appointment for me said they can do direct billing and she even asked what insurance I have. Again she ensured me it can. She asked my CC detail to book the appointment which I gave. I came at 11 which was my appointment. I didn't realize I have to fill up some forms.
That was about 5-10 minutes.
It was only Roger, the RMT there and he was good. But turned out, my massage was not exactly 1 hour as I wanted to because the minutes I should have the massage was used to fill up the forms. At the time when I was about paying the portion that I need to pay, Roger said I can't do direct billing there. He said it can't be done from the one in Stonebridge. I was a little bit upset because the reason I go there so that i don't have to deal with paperwork afterward with the insurance and it seems there's no consistent communication between staffs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I could not make an appointment and called days prior to cancel. Left a message on their machine assuming all was taken care of. A confirmation of appointment call was made to me in which I stated I cancelled and left a message. In reply she stated there was no message left by me. I was charged on my credit card the full amount of the service which I cancelled. Be very careful when cancelling and leaving a message, as this is very poor on their behalf!! Their word against MINE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I booked to have facials and massages done this past weekend. We arrived 15 minutes early and got a phone call saying that the ladies that were to do our facials were running late. We waited for 5-10 minutes after our appointment time when they finally showed up. When we got inside we were rushed to do paper work and they couldn’t even provide us with 2 pens so we had to share a pen which took longer. Finally, the one lady just said to sign and date without finishing our forms. They rushed through our facials which didn’t make the experience enjoyable. Then the RMT’s showed up for our massages and the one RMT didn’t even concentrate on the areas that my boyfriend suffers from which is his back, neck, and shoulders. He left feeling more stiff than he was before we came for our appointment. Then when we went to direct bill all of the sudden the “system was down” and then she “forgot her password” to log in, so we ended up having to pay up front and submit later. Then the receipt she gave us wasn’t even sufficient enough to take to our insurance, so I had to call back and get proper receipts. The whole experience was unorganized, unprofessional, and unsatisfying. We will not be booking there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked 2 footlogix pedicures ($70 each), 1 little goddess pedicure ($30), and 2 organix manicures with the gel polish add on (supposed to be $45 mani+$15 for the gel polish add on, but got charged $65), excited for a great spa morning while on vacation, and I'm sad to say I was extremely disappointed with what we received.
The outcome of our services were fine, but the overall preparedness was really lacking, and procedures were slow, not to mention that the services were definitely NOT worth the price they have listed. The girl doing my services even had to cut my manicure massage really short because she was running late to go to her next service at the other spa location.
Then, at the end when asking for our "polish to take home" as per their website, we were denied with the reason of "we've updated our policies and products so we aren't doing that anymore" - without updating their site, and they refused to honour it. They offered us no compensation except a sad little mini polish (that was a completely different colour than we chose for our pedicures), and all of this came from the manager on the phone (Sandrina, or something like that). I've worked in the business of personal services, and that is not the way you should aim to treat your customers. I also got charged an extra $15 for no listed reason on my receipt (EDIT: Just calculated that this was for the 5% GST, but it should have at least been listed as such)
Overall would not recommend spending your money here. You can get the same job done just as good for a better price somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in the Stonebridge location Saturday Nov 7. This was one of the worst massages I have ever experienced. I booked a hot stone and actually told her to quit using them on me as she practically burned me with the first stones. The table was super uncomfortable and hard, the therapist wore a hoodie because she was cold as was the room…as was this client. The technique of the therapist was not relaxing or pleasant at all. I have had massages for 25 years all over Canada and other countries and this was right up there with the feeling I was being punked it was so bad. Reception was pleasant - you get the star.
