Consistently bad food, burgers are dry and burned to a crisp yet still cold when you eat them. Ice cream is meh, I think they don’t add enough toppings. Tried here multiple times as I live close by and never been a good time. Too bad because I believe it is family owned and the staff are always friendly.

Very slow service. Not polite owners. Costly, product amount shrinking. Dilly bars now only 6 instead of 10. Burgers not worth the short trip anymore. A coupon book does not make things better .

Not a transparent business. Ordered food through the drive thru was told it was 25$, when I pulled up to pay it was 31$. Somehow in the 10 ft I drove the price was raised. When I asked the owner/ management I received an unintelligible response in broken English and no explanation. Crooks

Horrible experience here tonight. Went through the drive thru and the young lady at the window was extremely rude. They charged us for 2 root beer floats that we never ordered and only reimbursed us $2.50. We ordered $60 worth of food and ice cream and she passed it out to us and shut the window before my husband could even pull the food into the truck. When we drove away we realized we were missing our salad, an ice cream cone and a drink. The drive thru was lined up and the restaurant was closed so I walked up to the drive thru window to get the rest of our food. As I passed a lady driving out of the drive thru she 'wished me luck' as her experience seemed just as bad as ours. The staff said they forgot to key in the salad and wouldn't give it to us even though it was their mistake. They gave us the ice cream cone but not the missing drink. The young lady at the drive thru window seemed frustrated that I was back to get my food. She again closed the window quickly after passing me the ice cream cone. When we got home and my husband and kids started eating they realized their fries were cold (like still a bit frozen). Tried calling the store but no one answered. Not happy with what we got after spending $60.00 here.

This location is so convenient, but I never feel like the staff are paying attention. They often get the order wrong, and seem to be inconvenienced when someone pulls up to the order board or window. I am also never 100% sure that my food (especially chicken) is fully cooked. A better focus on customer service would be much appreciated.

If I could give a minus rating I would. Although it says contact the owner, it's the owner I'm complaining about. She is very very rude. Do NOT shake the credit card machine at me when you didn't hold it long enough for the tap to work and yell at me to insert my card. Then walk away and not speak to me. Although I (usually) like the food my coworkers won't go because of her and the service. I don't think I have ever seen her smile or welcome a customer or given a thank you. But god help you if you make a complaint! I was on the other end of that once before. Rather deal with an angry bear. Today I asked for fresh chicken strips, rec'd old dried up chicken. I couldn't even bite the end of the strip it was so dried up. Usually when I ask another girl I will get fresh ones. Also asked for a little extra gravy on my poutine as they put on a thimble full, it was watered down instead. Worst meal and service, can't complain, she doesn't care. Attitude is, if you don't like it don't come back. Not sure why the head office isn't doing something, most of the comments talk about the rudeness, there is a problem. They are also milking the covid thing, the doors still are not open, only the drive thru. Someone said, they probably don't want to spend the electricity, that can't be it, they don't turn any lights on anyway. Unless head office steps in, I'm done!

Went today and ordered 4 Blizzards. We find out they've got one blizzard wrong after driving all the way home. Go back to get the right one. The woman at the second window who handed us the correct blizzard was outright rude. Wouldn't confirm if it was the correct one. When we asked she first ignored us, yelled what and than muttered whatever under her breath. At this point I have to ask is the purpose of DQ to sell blizzards or to treat customers like trash when asking if their order is correct. As a service worker myself this was not only infuriating but incredibly disappointing my family and I deserved more respect. I hope this woman understands her attitude was unnecessary and unacceptable. I will not be returning.

This location is completely unprofessional and does not offer the basic customer service that is generally required to run a business. Every time I have gone in, I've been left waiting and when they do finally help me, they do not communicate at all. When coming through the drive through, they again, do not say hello, tell you what you owe, or ask if you want any condiments. When we do ask, they say they've given us condiments, however when we look in the bag, there are none or only one. When we ask for more, they get cranky about it and do not want to give us what we've paid for. Their onion ring portions are also VERY small and look like they are reducing the proper amount. We've also had the drive through window slammed in our face when we were still talking to them. I have complained to Dairy Queen Head Office before and received an apology email along with a free Blizzard. When I went there, they were skeptical about it and demanded to take my phone to "see it better" after I was told they were made aware and to just give them my name. I did not give them my phone. They were unhappy and gave me a messy Blizzard cup with hardly any mixings and again, did not say anything to me. DO NOT go to this location. The Deerfoot Run staff are much nicer and serve you with the common decency of customer service.
