★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked them to put my memebership on hold for a month as I've hurt my ankle and doctor has forbidden any exercise but I have been told its not possible and I can do upper body exercises! Very convinient and effective!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Curves is a women's only facility. This makes it a very comfortable environment. But what enhances it is the mother-daughter team who run it. They both know a lot about the body and how to exercise to fine tune it. Both women smile a lot and have positive things to say and suggest. Everyone gets treated nicely and they promote a harmonious atmosphere. The place is super clean and the machines run well and seem new. They help you both on the machines and with the exercise programs. This 4th ave. Curves was recommended to me by a friend and I joined for a year on the first visit. I'm happy I did because my body goes there willingly to its benefit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in for a week free trial as I lived in CoquitlAm and ended up feeling pressured to sign up the first day. After a few weeks I realized the commute 1.5 hours each way by bus was too far. I cancelled my membership within 30 days. They continued to try to take out my fee for over a year and expect me to pay close to $1000. This is absurd considering I cancelled my membership. I would not recommend using this service as they don't cancel your membership upon request and will continue to try to take out your fees. Al most a year and a half and they are still trying to take my fee from my account. They have threatened a collection agency, as I told the other one I refuse to pay for a service I cancelled. I will be making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do not recommend this company.

The gym and the equipment are clean.
The equipment is always in working order.
The staff is helpful and gives tips and tricks when asked. They will play exercise videos to assist you during the transition stations, if you are out of ideas.
The speed and intensity that you work at is your choice, so the work out is as easy or as difficult as you choose. There are no ego's here, everyone just wants to stay in shape and have fun!
