C	Carla Burr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was visiting from Texas and so excited they had a class offered on Sunday. Erin was the coach and she was very knowledgeable and hands on! And they had a shower for members and visitors to use after which is awesome! The members were also very friendly. If I'm ever back in Vancouver, I would definitely visit CrossFit Uncivilized again!
O	Owen McLaren on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joined Crossfit Uncivilized 3 years ago when I was out of shape, 25 lbs heavier and with no weight lifting background. My exercise consisted of volleyball a couple nights per week and definitely not the best eating habits. I knew a few friends that were doing Crossfit and seeing great results, so figured I'd give it a try. Completed a six week intro class with Erin and learned the basic movements and proper technique so I was well prepared for when I joined in the regular classes. Met a lot of great people at the gym and seen so many amazing transformations. EJ, Erin and the coaches do an awesome job at making the classes safe, fun and challenging so you never leave without getting a good sweat on. Highly recommend checking it out! Only regret is not starting earlier.

I've seriously transformed my body and mindset, and could not have done it without the exceptional coaching support (special thanks to EKD) and the friendly, welcoming environment. I've been continually impressed with the ongoing level of investments and innovation in new equipment, diverse class programming and athlete & community initiatives. The canine crowd presence is a big plus too :D
G	Gwill Symons on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great CrossFit location with friendly, welcoming and professional staff and trainers that suit every level of athlete from beginner to competition lifters. Well sized work out spaces and a variety of training classes available at all times of day to fit almost anyone’s work / life schedule. Great sense of community with its members and other local businesses, and occasional fun in-house competitions and events to challenge every level of athlete. Also very dog friendly !

They have done a great job of creating a positive atmosphere that lets every member succeed - whether you are training to get into shape or really pushing yourself to compete. I was uncertain about crossfit before I joined, but I am really enjoying it. Many thanks to the uncivilized team

A	Allyssah Fitterer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a previous elite athlete, I was so happy to find this gym. The people are amazing and the programs are well thought-out. What caught me off guard was the lack of professionalism when needing to cancel the membership. After a class at the end of the month, I expressed the need to pause the membership with one of the owners. He told me to send an email any time, which I did the following week (the start of the next month). After noticing a full month's fee ($240) was charged to my account, I notified the owners via email again afterwards, understanding that mistakes happen. They replied saying a written request prior to the charge date was needed to avoid charges. While I understand this rule, it was not specifically mentioned when I had notified them in person. In addition, I had been able to receive a refund earlier in the year without sending a written request. It didn't add up. Over the next month, I attempted to call and email, being unable to communicate in person while relocating. No communication has been recieved in 3 weeks and I have yet to receive a refund. No matter how one values $240, it was unfortunately a negative ending to a very fun place to workout.
E	Emira Ugun on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is my worst nightmare. I contacted them a couple of times but they did nothing about soundproofing their studio. We live next door and whenever they drop a weight on the floor, our building shakes relentlessly. I can’t tell you how annoying it is to wake up every other day at 6:30 am to your house shaking like crazy because of some weightlifters. This is literally giving me earthquake trauma. I’m currently writing this at 6:30 pm and it’s been happening again and again for the last 15 minutes. Please soundproof your space. This is very reckless and I honestly don’t understand how you don’t have the courtesy to fix this issue after your neighbors contacted you about this a hundred times.
