Crystal Nails

Have been coming to this salon for over 6 months and will continue to be a customer well into the future! Love how personable peter and the staff are. I always get what I want and am never disappointed when I ask them to surprise me. My first choice for acrylic nails and a pedicure. My friend and I always make a girls day!

Linda does amazing nails for a discounted price. You can really tell she truly cares about her clients. I've been to this cute little salon a handful of times now, and am always beyond satisfied by the quality. I can proudly say I'll be a returning customer!

They do a awesome job on my nails every time. I am very rough with my hands and they have always lasted (not broke) until I had to go back in and get them filled.

I went to that salon for the first time a week ago as a first time customer, I had acrylic nails done, and gel polish applied less than a week and the polish started peeling and chipping in both hands , I returned and Dana looked at my nail removed the polish and put new polish ,I had to tell her to put an extra top coat. It is now 2 days later and the polish is peeling on both hands,I have had my nails done for many years and has never had nails peel or chip on me. She never put a base coat so the polish could adhere to the surface, and not enough drying time for the polish to cure. Short cuts on service leads to clients not returning. I like my nails being done well and I pay for a good job. You lost a good client . Got my nails done on Wednesday 28/20 and was back on the 6/2020 And today the 8/2020 and nails are peeling. I Would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I Will Not Return I was in business and I strived to give every client that came in my door good service,and in these times of business good service should be the #1 priority and making sure we give the customer a good experience so they come back .

Worst nail salon I've ever been to, if I could give zero stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. Please, for the love of god do not go to this place, if you want someone who knows how to do your nails properly, go somewhere else. Firstly, I am clueless on nail salons and all that fun stuff, I never go to nail salons nor do I get my nails done, I had went here with a friend simply because they asked so I took my chances and came here. I asked for short acrylic stilettos (I know now that acrylic is not good for you and you should never get it), expecting it to look quite decent, I even showed a photo of what I wanted. The lady that was working on me took forever and was really rough on my nails, it was quite painful but I didn't want to say anything in fear that she would purposely ruin my nails. She kept speaking in a different language with the other workers the whole time and made little conversation with me as some of her coworkers would just come over and stare and continue speaking in a different language and kept pointing, to me it felt like maybe they were belittling me, I do not have the greatest nails because of a bad nail biting habit that I have, I even apologized for this. She then proceeded to put cheap plastic tips on and awfully trim them down with nail cutters and a file, they looked like Doritos shaped nails, not stilettos. Then put the acrylic on and put some cheap black nail polish on that you could see through in the light which looked terrible, she had also put the tips on a very awkward angle so they were pointing upwards and not flat. After that, she charged us an extra 20 for our nails after she told my friend it would be 36 dollars and my friend paid a whopping 100 dollars for both of us. I got the nails removed after a week at another nail salon and the lady who removed my nails had a hell of a time removing them and told me the acrylic that was used was definitely expired and that she's never smelt acrylic so terrible before, I would also agree, it smelt like dead fish. She was also very disturbed by the way the nails were done and put on and I would absolutely agree. So please, for the love of god, do NOT come to this nail salon, it is for your own good.

I had my beautiful nails done at Crystal Nails last week and they are simply amazing. I am a very busy individual that rarely have time to spend on myself. Life just keep me so busy and I'm on the go all the time. Well, last week I decided to get my nails done since I was going grocery shopping at Save-On Foods and I saw that Crystal Nails was just a few steps away. Trust me, I had to Yelp / Google, to know ahead of time what to expect. My first impression of the shop was not completely positive. It looks and smells like any typical nail salon that I'm accustomed to. "I'll be honest, I'm the type that judged a book by its cover." I wasn't too thrilled to find out that I had to wait 30 minutes to get my nails done. "Poor me right?" I agreed to booked for a slot in 30 minutes meanwhile, I could get some shopping done next door at Save-On Foods. In my head I was thinking, "should I just drive downtown to get my nails done? All my co-workers get their nails done in the shop at Lansdowne Village." I made the decision to stick with the appointment and to give this shop a try. Really, I didn't want to deal with the hassle of driving downtown especially on my day off. I am truly glad that I stuck with it. So, the lines over at Save-On was a bit crowded and I was for sure going to be late to my appointment. When I finally arrived, I was about 15 minutes late. Unfortunately, I didn't call ahead of time to let them know of my situation. To my amazement, Linda, said that it was okay, "Life happens." Her English wasn't too great but, I understood what she meant. I felt relieved and so grateful because normally I'll get the dirty look followed by, "Sorry, but you have to rescheduled or call in." Blah blah... We all know how it goes. I literally didn't know what I wanted to be exact, I'm a bit indecisive. So, I just told Linda to choose whatever she thought was nice and that I liked pink and shiny. After 40 minutes of her working her magic I was amazed of the outcome. I was bedazzled. Not only was it beautiful, it was ridiculously underpriced. I'm used to paying a premium when I get my nails done over in Vancouver for my business trips. This experienced proves to show that not everything on Yelp / Google is 100% accurate. I supposed you need to try it first and then you could then give your honest opinion. I'm a satisfied customer. I'll be returning to get my nails done here in the future. A note worth mentioning is that the service offered in Crystal Nails isn't first class, "please do not expect to be treated like royalty." Bummer, I know... However, the quality is great. Most importantly, Linda, was understanding and a great person to chat with. Quite frankly, I prefer the small nail shops over the overpriced ones that are too busy to care that sometimes, "Life" does happened.

The service was quick with following all the cleanliness covid rules. Everything was displayed panelled and if needed explained well. The only thing I didn't like was how much the spoke in their own language, I understand that it is more comfortable for them but it made me feel as if they were talking about me. The service was gentle and painless and final results were gorgeous.

I went to this place today 12 April 2022 and I asked for short SQUARE nails and I got idk what to call it…. I definitely do not recommend it’s a 1/10…I had to ge a nail file to fix the shape on my own as soon as I left the shop because I tried to get the lady there to fix it and she just made it worse. On the finger with a little dust or little white things that was the one I had fixed the rest is what I got done. It was supposed to be square shape btw
