★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience getting my daughter fitted for contact lenses. They badly need a technology upgrade, but Romer was fantastic. Very friendly, great demeanour and knows his stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are, for the most part, nice, but unfortunately extremely disorganized. I recently ordered a supply of contact lenses and they forgot to place the order, but did not realize until I called them about it 2 weeks later. They subsequently placed the order, however, they ordered the wrong prescription and had to re-order. Thus far, it has been 4 weeks since I placed my original order and I still do not have my contact lenses. The calling system is extremely inconvenient, as there is no way to leave a message, which is unfortunate as they are not the best with picking up the phone. There have been times where I have called the optical department 12 times while they were open and have been rerouted to the Costco main greeting page each time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I waited 20 mins to get the price of my contacts for a year, the lady at the front desk quoted me double the price they were suppose to be. After repeatedly asking to make sure, she still confirmed them to be that price. I called another Costco optical and they were able to quote correct price, so I will be going there instead. I hope they are able to train staff correctly next time so customers don’t have to waste their time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Costco Vision Center in Sarcee Trail NW several times. However, the staffs need to be retrained or someone has to supervise them better to provide customer service.
They seemed to neglect their work. Even though I was waiting for service for a long time, they were pretended busy (saw not was really doing anything) or busy chatting and discussing their fingernail colors and etc with other staffs and intentionally avoid their works.
It was not only one time incident but also everytime when I visited it happened. Ironically, my friends told me the same thing.
I hope someone in higher level manager read this comment and educate staffs for better customer service in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The optometrist wasn't very knowledgeable, he asked me to change my son's glasses as he developed astigmatism. I repeated the eye exam at different place and came out no astigmatism.
Also he has to be more friendly as he's dealing with kids

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Switched out lenses on my Costco bought frames. Unfortunately, my dark colored frames got nicked and when I complained, I was rudely informed by the attendee's supervisor that I signed a waiver at the time of payment so its not Costco's responsibility to recoup me for damages. Sure. But, my issue is more with the Costco Vision Center supervisor talking down at me and disrespecting me in front of others even though I spent money on a now damaged pair of glasses. There is polite way to say things and even apologize for the nick even if Costco is legally covered at their end. Such a horrible experience and I would not like any other customer to receive such poor treatment. I will not be using their services in the future.
