★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The person helping me was visibly annoyed that I was bothering them, rude and short in our exchange. I really like this Costco, I always will, there is no amount of pricing that could make me return to the tire centre. Disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely leave a negative review but this one warrants it. I've had really mixed service from the Costco tire center. They staff is friendly and their prices are rock bottom, but there's a price to pay for the low cost. If you deviate at all from their set of rules when it comes to tires, you will loose your warranty on the purchased tires or worse, they will not service your tires at all. Most recently, I had a nail cause a leak in one of my tires. I took it to a reputable shop to be fixed and they patched it inside. Costco saw this and would not under any circumstances install the tire on the car for the winter season. Their only solution was to replace the tire. I took the tire to two other independent tire shops for their opinion and they said that the repair was done well and was sound. But Costco has their rules. Buyer beware. Oh and before I forget, when they get busy it can take you months to get an appointment. Definitely not worth the hassle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent almost $1000 on new tires at Costco Okotoks, brought my car back to get re torqued and they broke my hubcap which are all professionaly painted black. I just took it back and talked to the manager and he's willing to replace the one piece if I go to Toyota, get it replaced and bring the receipt but he won't pay to get it painted. So I have to go out of my way to fix something they broke and it won't even match my other 3 hubcaps.. SO not impressed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would not switch my winter/summer tires over because it had a plug from Kal tire in it. They claimed it was for safety and that Kal tire’s standards aren’t high enough for their liking. They offered to order me a new tire for $375 that would get here in three weeks. Funny, they didn’t offer to do a re-repair on a simple nail hole in the centre of the tread. Garbage service today from under qualified know-it-alls. But they’re “really sorry about that”.
