I visited the tire centre to have my tire patched. The technician refused to patch the tire as he claim that they won't patch a plugged tire due to liability issue (Which is understandable.) FYI I only plugged the tire myself so i can make the trip to the warehouse without calling a tow truck. What made me furious is the technician refused to refund my fee, even it's only $12.31. I have been a long time member of Costco and I have never seen such poor customer service attitude in all of the warehouses I have been to.

Yesterday i went to Langley Costco to have a nail removed from my tire. They told me that is was damaged, and could not be repaired. That i need to buy two new tires. I called Discount tires in white rock, and they told me that the tire was not even removed from rim to see if it could be repaired/. Discount tires repaired it. Thumbs Down to Costco. I will never be back.. :(

My husband & I are long-time Costco members so when I had to replace the tires on my car, we naturally looked at Costco first. They weren't the cheapest but we went with them because... Costco, right? We ordered the tires and they came in within a couple of weeks. We were notified by email and subsequently made an appointment for the install, which I was to attend. The first red flag was the general unfriendliness of the counter clerk. Yes, he could see my appointment but what was my order number? No order number, no installation. A phone call to my husband provided the essential number but it seemed to me to be a poor system. Plus, there was no order number on any of the text messages I had received from Costco about the appointment. Nonetheless, 90 minutes later, I got a phone call that my car was ready and to come to the bays directly to get my keys. The car was already parked in one of the reserved spots. I stood for several minutes at the bays, generally ignored, until i finally flagged down an employee, who retrieved my keys for me. When I went to my car to load up the groceries I had just bought, I realized that the rear cargo compartment was a complete jumble of items from the subfloor storage compartment. It took my son & I about 10 minutes to put everything back into place again (these are the subfloor compartments where the jack & other accessories are stored, kind of like puzzle pieces) but it seemed sloppy & unprofessional for this simple task to be overlooked. It makes me feel uncertain of the quality of work with which the tires were installed. Not impressive for Costco. So, next time, I'll pay a little more, if needed, and go somewhere else to get the extra service & attention that makes me feel like I actually matter. Update: we had the 40 km recheck done at Costco this afternoon and the customer service could not have been better. Thanks to Zach for a job well & efficiently & pleasantly/professionally done. I'd give Zach 5 stars if I could! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I wanna give a big shout out to Brad. I noticed a nail in my tire yesterday but the earliest appointment that I can get is 10:30 the next day. I decided to swing by right before the tire centre opens. Although they haven’t really started the day, Brad quickly accommodated my needs and patched my tire within 40min. Brad was very friendly and professional and I’m very happy with his service.

Called 5 times, spoke to two Costco Admin staffers. Other times call timed out as no one picked call made directly to Tire Centre local#. Last call actually answered (I called administration to speak to manager) by tire manager Devon. He apologized for lack of phone service with tire center staff. He patiently spoke to me for about 10 minutes and explained how the tire appointments schedule works and best way to prepare for when they receive tire deliveries, Tues and Thurs and they notify customers on Wednesday and Friday (Normally 5-7 business day are tire are sent from distribution centre. He spoke about the 20% online flash tire sale this past Labour day and mentioned due to global tire shortage, next year is really when tire availability will be at premium. Devon get 5 stars, Costco telephone service 2-3 stars. 3.5 to 4 stars.

Came in for 3:00pm appointment on Friday. Car went in for service at 4:25pm. And come out 5:05pm. Tall nice lady Debbie, told me it will take one and half hour… they might just missed seeing my car because I parked where white stripes is and it was hard to see from the shop. I hope they could just told me that they are running late. One of service man who has rose tattoo on left arm, parked his car at tire shop customer only parking a lot. I hope employees don’t park their cars at customers parking so that customers can park their car and not get missed.

I have made an appointment to install all-weather tires for my CX-30 and the wait time was 2 weeks. The closest spot they had was on Monday afternoon, so I took time off work to get this done. The place was a mad house, as usual. Very busy with barely any parking available. I waited an hour in line to the tire counter, finally managed to pay and drop off the keys. Another hour for the car to be brought in. And after all that, I was informed that they will not install brand new Kumho tires on the brand new Mazda car, due to "liability policy". I have no idea what policy would that be, since it is not listed anywhere on Costco website. Manager was not available. So, unless you buy overpriced tires at Costco, do not bother. Which would be fine with me - if only I knew about it... I specifically asked them if they will install tires that were purchased elsewhere when I made my appointment, and was assured it won't be a problem as long as the tires meet manufacturer's specifications for the model car intended. Not sure what to think about this, I wasted so much time on this disaster and now I need to look elsewhere to get this service performed before the winter. Unfortunately Costco membership is losing more and more appeal for me with each passing year. And I have been paying for it for the last two decades. Time to cancel, I think.

Got my tires changed in the fall and no problem. Went to get the summers back on in the spring. Get a call that the tires are garbage. Unfortunately my car is tiny and it’s very difficult to find tires for it. Would have been great to know they were trash back in November when they took them off my car. Don’t you think that’s something you should tell your customers?? To top it off I came back to try and order some new tires and the (I believe) supervisor told me to do it online in a seriously condescending tone. Really poor customer service.
