I'm pretty unhappy with Olga's service. She kept calling me to tell me my dress was done before checking to see if everything was done to my specifications. Twice she called me in to say it was done but the pins were still in the dress and nothing had been done to it. Then she tried charging me more money for it even though I had already paid for the extra on the previous visit! When she rushed to do the stitching that should have been done the first time the bustle was not done properly and wouldn't hold the dress - and we had to sew it up on my wedding day ourselves. The other work was done well, however she really needs to check work before calling her customers!

I was recommended to Olga from the store I bought my wedding dress from. Simple skirt lining and hem length to floor alterations. I was quoted approx 60$ and was confident that my dress would be finished to my requests. I do not reside in the Kelowna area so I was never called for previews nor was there any photos sent to see the progress on this very important dress. When the dress was ready. A friend picked it up for me and my total was 160$. Shocked at the huge price change, I did pay it and tried on my β€œfinished” wedding dress! The hem was 5” too short!!! The new skirt lining was bunching bad. Distorted and sewn to all the wrong seams. My dress was ruined! Nothing could fix the length. I had to buy a replica of the original dress and I hired a local seamstress in my area to re-do the entire dress. The lining Olga had used was not even salvageable and I had to buy new lining as well! All in all, Olga’s botching of my dress cost me five times what the dress was worth and a huge stress not needed while anticipating my wedding day. I would not recommend Olga’s service for any garments that need intricate attention. Possibly a jean hem would be worth the gamble. But not a wedding dress. Be aware! I also never got my money back from her... lesson learned

These ladies do very fine work! I brought in a pair of jeans and a pair of slacks to get tailored and I was very happy with the result.

I always come here with any of my alterations or zipper repairs that I can't fix myself (or it would be cheaper to go to a professional for). I've had an evening gown sized down (2017) - I even had her take in the darts to make sure the bust silhouette was maintained, and a piece of boning was added for stability. Very happy with the outcome, and the dress is still a staple in my wardrobe for weddings. I am happy as an amateur seamstress to continue coming here with my pieces.

I took my jacket in for a minor rip on the pocket and to get 4 buttons changed on Jan 20th. She told me how she was going to complete the repair and I was satisfied we agreed to a Jan 25th pick up. When I came back Jan 25th, it was not ready, as she accidently put it in the Jan 27th hanger, no problem I had to head out of town and said I would be back 9am Feb 3rd. 9am Feb 3, she's not there. I call, no answer. I left a message, she calls me back at 9:30, the jacket is still not done. I tell her i need this jacket back Feb 9th. Feb 9th I go to get the jacket, 2 of the 4 buttons are done and there is a patch over the rip, not an 'invisible mend' like we discussed. I feel that this woman is very overwhelmed by the backlog of garments in her shop, and she doesn't take good enough notes of what the customer wants. While i feel the quality of the sewing is good, if you chose to come here, I would write down what you want and adhere it to the garment you bring in, but also I would not bring a time sensitive item here.

I have used two different tailoring, or alteration companies in Kelowna. This one is by far my favorite. Not only is the quality top notch, but they come in a little less expensive than the other one I have used. Recently, I had a pair of pricey Tilley shorts have the pocket get completely blown out. Just look at the picture, they look brand new!

I brought in two pairs of PJ pants that had large complicated rips in them, and she said it would be $30 each to do them - I said yep, charge me whatever you need to, I realize they’re probably not worth that but they’re my favorite pairs so I don’t care how much it costs. Give her two weeks to fix them, come back and they’re not done. She says it would be expensive so they didn’t do them … ? Much more annoyed about them completely wasting my limited time to get stuff done than any amount they would have charged me.

10/10 recommend! I took my suit in for alterations, pants, jacket and a shirt. She tailored everything to exactly what I wanted with a quick turnaround. Very reasonable pricing. - Ashton
