Luckily, it wasn't that cold and in the morning after calling few companies I invited consumers energy to my parents house as they had free diagnostic service for seniors. The tech (Greg) who showed up was very considerate of my parents house and after checking the furnace found out that ignitor wasn't working. He offered the 10% senior discount on the repair which was very nice of them. It is really nice to know that there are companies out there like consumers energy who take care of our senior citizens. I will keep this company for my needs in the future. Thanks again
Y	Yael Bar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a problem with humidity level in our house. Our crown moulding and baseboard joints were all cracked last winter and we had to pay to fix it. Our humidity level was too low. We called few companies and decided to go with Consumers Energy because of the solution they offered. Our house has hardwood floor with a lot of wood furniture and proper humidity level was top priority for us. They recommended to install a steam humidifier which we never knew what it was or how it worked. It was a bit more expensive than the regular bypass humidifiers that we were looking for to install, but we really trusted their expertise on the subject and decided to go with their recommendation. In addition they offered full money back guarantee for 6 months if the problem remained unsolved so it was an easy decision for us. Very happy and highly recommend these guys.

He checked things that the other contractors neglected to and came up with a plan that would work for our home. The quote was very reasonable (the quote includes draining and unhooking the hot water tank and hooking our water up to the combi boiler). He was able to complete the job quickly. I very much recommend this company.

After finding out the cost of repairing the heat exchanger (which was anywhere $900-$1400) we decided to buy a new furnace. When the agent (Edward) from Consumers Energy came he reassessed the whole house, found out that the old furnace was oversized and that humidifier wasn't working. We felt like we were his customers for years when dealing with him. After we signed the paperwork we got a call from the company few hours later to finalize the details which gave us the confidence that we deal with a good company. The system he suggested was over our budget but was well worth it. He explained every reason why it was better. We were offered financing with a very reasonable interest rate which we used. On the day of install we had three technicians showing up at our doors. The job was done amazing and very clean. Thank you Andriy and your crew for job well done. The next day after installation we had someone to come and check the installation to make sure that everything was operating well. It's been more than two weeks since we had a new furnace put in and we really like it. Well done Consumers Energy, it was a pleasure to have you work on our install. God Bless you all.
