★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Applied visa last year, overall satisfied experience. We prepared all required documents so process was really straight forward. The office itself was a bit layback and casual atmosphere but 100% professional. Everyone knows what they are doing, helpful and friendly. We did wait a bit inside after our appointment time passed so no need to get there too early if you have booked an appointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over 6 figures on checking account & same on saving, multiple rental properties in Vancouver & the gentleman is asking us for a flight ticket return. Bank statement. Marriage certificate. The visa is only for my wife. She does have a 10 years US visa Seriously!!!! We’re going to Italy from Vancouver smuggled in a freight ship. Ridiculous…… I’m French citizen & Canadian citizen, my wife is from a country that don’t allow dual citizenship. Are we going to leave paradise for……

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there to apply for a schengen visa; the processing was fast and on time and got it in 10 days. Everything on their website was accurate, and the staff were super friendly and nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people who work here have 0 intention on helping anyone. They serve one person per week, no matter the issue, and only over by phone so they are able to write you off easily. This service has fully exploited COVID-19 and is using it as an excuse to provide absolutely zero service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience communicating with this embassy to get tourist visa for Italy three months ahead of my travel date. Visa employees here are extremely unhelpful and rude, and have no intention of helping you. I ended up having to cancel my flight and lose money.
Appointments are booked out as far as 4 months ahead, so check to see there are online visa appointments before you book your flights. It is impossible to get an appointment otherwise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The employees who respond to emails at this location have taken their jobs for granted. They are playing with the future of undergrad and graduate students in Vancouver who are attempting to go on exchange to Italy. Shameful representation of Italy in a foreign country. I wonder what could be the reason for such rude and audacious behavior. I’ll be posting a few horrific examples of their email responses publicly going forward.
