★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It isn't listed on the site but this place has lockers for storing electronic devices. I was able to fit my phone, a vape and smartwatch inside of one of them. I walked so I didn't need to bring keys but I'm pretty sure they would've fit as well. Security is tight and takes a few to get to but I found everyone very polite and the process relatively quick and painless for replacing my damaged, expired passport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall very good experience !! Embassy is well operated and everyone is welcoming. But, I have not got any email or update regarding my passport even after a week, I continue to wait as there is no direct way to either email or contact anyone to inquire further.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although you will receive an email saying that there are no storage lockers at this place, but they do provide storage locker for mobile phone. No other electronics are allowed. You can take your keys (even keyless apartment fobs) and wallet inside. Don't forget to print DS-160 confirmation page, I saw many who were asked to get a print as they didn't it bring along.
The entire process from Interview to getting my passport back was done in 4 days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is based by my experience (last week of march 2022)
The lady who checked me in was so nice and friendly, as well as the guards who first checked my things. Its not mentioned in the email but you could bring a small purse to put in your wallet nd keys ( if you have air tag, it will be stored with ur phone and any electronic devices you have, they have a small locker for it in the entrance). Make sure to PRINT your DS-160 and have a photo ready, recently if you can. Mine was taken a month ago and its okay. Then you will go on the stairs (second security check, mostly same as the first one). Then you go on the third one, where you and your things will be searched again then this time you will go the xray machine. ( make sure to remove any metal and put it in the box). Then they will direct you to the windows for screening of your papers and stuff. After that you will go upstairs for the interview. As for the interview, they will ask your status in Canda, your work, and what are you gonna do in the US. In total, i spent 15-20mins. All the staffs were friendly, courteous, helpful & straight forward. Thank you for your services & be safe.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Each and every one is so patient and considerate. They do have a locker to store mobile phones and car keys. No bag packs are allowed tho.
Make sure to take a recent photograph.
The entire process is straightforward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ridiculous. I got rejected for tourist Visa for no explanation. They gave me rejection letter, it was said that I don’t prove the strong ties with residing country. I am already doing my studies and work here in Canada, why would I choose to stay there in states? I don’t know how the strong ties are supposed to be shown. Security staff was very nice though. I appreciate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE WORST!! Very very disappointed by the service. I had a Knee surgery and wanted to have my sister in US so she can help me around the house as i can't walk. She applied for medical emergency and got the appointment in 2 days. She spent a lot of money on the airline tickets and the hotel only to find out they rejected her request without even giving a proper explanation. I have been suffering and in pain so I was eagerly waiting for her to come. But she didn't allow her.
It was an Indian (Punjabi) lady who rejected the B2 visa and was very very rude. People like that should never be allowed to work in such position. I don't understand how people can be soo heartless and inhuman. She should be fired before she causes more trouble and pain to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entire staff is very courteous and does a thorough job of screening - like any visa consulate office. I took my mother (62yr old) for B2 visa interview - my mom is not fluent in speaking English so I was allowed to accompany her for translation, she was requested to sit rather than standing in lines. They have a storage space for mobile, (no other electronic devise) and purse is allowed inside. I’m happy they were considerate about my mothers age. Thank you for your service today.
