A great experience, gave me a quote and within a week had started work on my deck.Finished before expected completion date, couldn't have asked for better. Thanks to Mitch and his crew for the hard work! Would defiently recommend!

Mitch handled my job quickly and efficiently. It was a small job and we had a difficult schedule with our grandchildren but he made the time for us. Thank you for being flexible and providing us with a great price. We will be calling again in the future.

Mitchell and Co. were excellent to do business with and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing interlocking work done. They were extremely professional and got the job done fast. There finished job very quickly and estimates were very accurate and when Mitchell Carni, the owner could round down in price, he did. He was more concerned about the walkway being fixed for my elderly orients than he was about among money which is why he is successful in what he does. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows his trade very well and is able to give options and work with customers in an affordable manner. This company is about getting the work done properly and satisfying clients. Everything went smoothly and no issues at all with this company. Would highly recommend!

DO NOT HIRE!!! BIG MISTAKE! I would give them -1000 stars if I could! First and foremost, when we hired Carnie (Mitch) he had advised us that his company name was "Tailored Construction", which does not exist. Mitch was hired to install tile flooring all over the main floor and basement bathroom- which was estimated to be completed in 1 week (they were hired November 7, 2020). This was extended by a month because after the first three days they would only come into work for 2-3 hours a day. Mitch only showed up for the first three days to work and collect money and then once to pick up his employee. We had called/texted him with our concerns multiple times and he would take days to respond if at all. He made many promises to come by but never showed up to address any of the issues. Some of the issues: - negligently leaving exacto blades all over the house (which is detrimental to my diabetic father). - CARELESSLY handle materials (broke lots of tiles) - Did not properly put cement on the base so tiles are moving and grout all of the house has crumbled and broken. - cement on the walls and baseboards - broke our bathroom faucet - Raised tiles (poor workmanship) The list goes on. We spent approximately $3000 more than our budget to replace materials due to their negligence. WE NOW HAVE TO GET A NEW CONTRACTOR TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES. After conducting research we found out that there were many other reviews very similar to our own experience, therefore we are not the first client that they are taken advantage of. During our research we found that he has used the following company names: Empire General Constructing, and Tailored Construction, and who knows what other names he is scamming people with.

I can't believe these reviews, are they real? We hired Mitchell Construction to work on our front step 6 months ago and they are yet to complete the work? Doesn't answer calls, ignores emails, makes up excuse after excuse when we do finally connect. It seems when reading these great reviews that he does have crews working and vehicles that work, but not to complete our contract. I'm baffled, the whole project, Mitch, the crew, all seemed legit, we praised their work, and the crew always involved us with next steps. Right now we have an unfinished roof that is leaking thru the ceiling potlights among other work that needs to be completed. I don't get it!

DO NOT USE HIM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE BARE FACED ROBBED! He will ask for an advance the work the first day, second day if you’re lucky then ask for another advance and never show up, he buys cheap tools and leaves it on your property to make you think he’s coming back. He owes me 10k for unfinished stamp concrete, does anyone want to pool and let’s build a law suit against him?

I hired Mitch to do a deck repair and stain. The deck repair was very sloppy - bench boards were not routered to match the other benches and pieces were not put in place properly. They could not completely remove the old stain, so they recommended "deck-over." The product did not even last 9 months. They must have put it on in direct sunlight and heat. It bubbled and pealed by mid spring. I contacted Mitch about this, he said he would fix his mistake. It's been 6 weeks and he's no longer responding to emails. DO NOT USE THEM, they will cut corners and don't take responsibility for their work.

Do your research on Mitch Carnie. Google him and read all the reviews on Empire General Contracting. The last company he owned would take homeowners deposits and not show up to do the work. Before reading these reviews we used Mitch for a small job in our basement. We the hired him for a much larger job in our backyard and then came across these reviews. We were very worried about them so we asked him directly. He told us they were all true, but the fault was of his “old partner”. We decided to take a chance with Mitch. Knowing what we knew, we were very caution around payment structure. Closer to the end of the job, Mitch asked to be paid in full. We hesitated as the deal was “payment upon completion”, but then finally decided to pay him before the job was done. Big Mistake. After that payment we didn’t hear from Mitch for months. He left equipment, tools and even workers clothes in our backyard. It looked like dump for months. He stopped replying to messages. We still have so many issues left to be fixed, bowed fence boards, cracked stone, loose railings. If you take the time to do a little bit of research you will find real reviews, not these fake ones on google. He’s prides himself on being on Homestars, which now also show real feedback on Mitch. Where there is smoke, there is fire. Do yourself a favour and find someone else.
