answer their phone! Speaking to a real person is important to me instead
of a call centre! I love the personal service and they will solve any problem.
They also don't have the staff turnover like other banks so I know most of the staff there.

Kudos to entire team under Kim Silkstone's command, and her professionalism, attention to detail, work ethic and communication skills.
I'd like to take this opportunity to personally thank you - Kim for your courteous service and outstanding knowledgeable service. I have no words to express the graceful hospitality and outstanding services you have extended.
I have been banking with First Calgary Financial for 15 years and my home branch originally was 130th Ave. SE, but lately with personnel and management changes there and constant issues of incompetence and not being able to process simple transactions or investments I had to switch to the Oakridge Branch. I don't mind to drive across the city to this location for any banking needs with full confidence. The 130th Branch needs a total overhaul as it presently does not reflect First Calgary Financial's name.

I had a complex question to which he did not know the answer - this was to be expected. He recommended I give him some time to research and call me back. That’s exactly what he did.
He was eloquent, thorough and professional. Because of him I have all the answers I need now. I was thinking of moving my business account to First Calgary from another bank but had my reservations. My customer service experience helped tip the odds.
