About Concrete Blonde Hair and Body
In 2015 we opened Concrete Blonde Hair & Body located in what we call ‘the heart & soul’ of old Sherwood Park, AB.
As the company continues to grow we made
the decision to expand and by late 2019 we
had moved to a beautiful and brand
new location. We wanted to create a
luxurious and friendly atmosphere, where
our guests would feel welcome and
pampered. It has always been our goal to
come into work and share our passion & love for the hair and body industry with a team that has just as much passion as we do. Our team consists of educators within the beauty industry, as well as award-winning hair artists. We believe in the importance of advanced education. With education, our team can then provide our guests with knowledge and the most up-to-date techniques with the best overall experience possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Massage and facials: Monica is amazing! She is the best massage therapist I have ever been too. She also does amazing facials.
Massages: she does deep tissue that is comparable to when I lived in Asia. She knows how to work sore and knotted muscles. Her customer service is top notch and she takes great pride in her oils, room and customer service. I will only go to Monica for massages. She also works on my son every few months to help him with his growing pains and he loves her.
Facials: I book one for special occasions or right before a special occasion and she is amazing! She always gets the extractions so I don’t have to worry about pimples and blackheads at those events. She uses amazing products and really takes great pride on what she does.
Monica is such a great asset and concrete blonde is my only stop for spa services. If you haven’t been before I highly recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had my hair coloured by Concrete Blonde Master hairstylist, Vicky. In all the years of colouring my hair I have never been so happy with my stylist. This was my second time seeing Vicky and after just two visits I can honestly say, she is hands down, the best stylist I have ever been to. She takes the time to understand exactly what you want and then makes it happen. There is no way you’re leaving Vicky’s chair unhappy… she’s too good! She has many years of experience and it shows. Needless to say, Vicky will be my go to hairstylist for the foreseeable future! The whole experience is always a great one. Professional staff, excellent management and even the coffee is great! Love this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ll start by saying I have loved Concrete Blonde, I’ve been coming here for years. So I’m sorry I have to say this. But my last cut…it’s been about a month and every time I look in the mirror all I can think is…I hate my hair. I told the stylist just trim the ends, and some layers because my hair is quite thick. I showed a couple pictures for reference…key word…reference. It’s what I always get done and have never had an issue..it’s simple and basic.
Before I realized what she was doing…she lopped off several inches of hair starting in the back. The worse part, is at the beginning she showed me what amount would be good to take off to clean up the ends…and I was okay with that. My hair was half way down my back when I went in. Now…it’s maybe an inch below my shoulders…that’s not okay.
I hate my hair, and to grow that length back..it’ll be a while, and I don’t even want to try and get it fixed because I don’t want to lose anymore length.
The layering…is uneven. One side looks okay, the other…honestly looks stupid. Straightening it doesn’t even fix it. It looks so sloppy, I hate it. Even the styling after just looked crooked and weird. I honestly don’t know if I want to come back.

She really listened to what I wanted and didn't try to convince me to go short because of my age. She did a great job and is very easy to talk to. Didn't try to pressure me into buying any product either. Was served a bottle of cold water and later a coffee with flavored cream. I will definitely be returning!
