★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been clients on and off with Comfort Keepers since 2015 they here has always been amazing except for one minor incident. I always found them to be a caring and compassionate company who is genuinely dedicated to his clients! I have recommended this company to other people with disabilities And always had a great relationship with them.
However recently myself as well as the organization supporting me reached out to them to arrange personal care services due to my disability. When I spoke to them they had no idea that I had ever had a previous file with them and made myself and the organization supporting me jump through hoops and fill out A great deal of paperwork before finally telling us that they never had staff to fill the shifts required in the first place. A woman by the name of Tracey who is supposed to be scheduling everything was almost impossible to reach and rarely returned your call!
I am extremely disgusted and disappointed that they thought it would be OK to treat a long time client the way they treated me. I understand that everyone is under a lot of stress because of the global pandemic however if they have been a front and honest about the fact that they could not provide care needed that would have been on a I’m going basis for potentially several weeks, then we would have been able to move on to other providers more quickly! And I am still looking for care because as of right now I still don’t have The care that I need!
I am saddened that things had to turn out this way as I would’ve hoped for our relationship would have continued for many more years to come.
