I was a patient here for 2-3 years. For the first year, the service was mostly okay but then really dropped off until I had to find a new doctor. I do think that overall my doctor was fine- Dr. Obnamia. She helped diagnose my fatigue as a symptom of hypothyroid. She referred me to an endocrinologist, got blood tests, dosage adjustments, ultrasounds. She was nice, friendly. In retrospect, I think the reception staff is the real issue. They are completely unorganized. I dont live that close to the office, so they said they can fax my prescription to my local pharmacy. I have a thyroid condition so I need to be taking a pill every single day. A few days later, I call my pharmacy- no fax received. I call the office- they insist it was sent. Call back my pharmacy and she checks the call log- no fax sent from my office. I call back reception, get someone different and she says the other person was wrong and no fax was sent. This goes back and forth for several days until I called them and said I only have a few pills left. After almost 2 weeks of phone tag, I had to get the pharmacy to give me an emergency prescription because I had no pills left. I couldn't go there because my husband had the car and I was working during business hours. Imagine if it was blood pressure medication or something you cannot go without. Another time I scheduled an appointment over a month in advance to go over blood work/see if dosage adjustment is needed. The evening before they call and say my doctor is on vacation for the next 3 weeks... when I finally got to see my doctor she said they were made aware of the vacation months ago but didnt say much more than that. The last straw was when I requested a blood work form, because last blood test my tsh was getting close to hyperthyroid meaning dosage adjustment.... they say,according to their records, I havent been there in over a year so i need to book an appointment.... the receptionist counted on her fingers- The same fingers that cant send a fax. I was just there 4 months ago for blood work and still have the lab results online. After that I just got a new doctor. It's not worth the hassle and I was beginning to dread going. This place is chaos. I cant imagine what my records even look like there- they dont even have my last few visits in the system. The reception staff needs some serious work. Unlike other reviews, they were never rude to me but they were very unreliable and disorganized.

Woodbine Family Health Clinic is a truly family focused health center. I had a bad experience with my previous doctor who misdiagnosed my hypertension with the wrong medication for 15 years. After I came to WFHT I was correctly diagnosed and put on the right medication which I appreciate. The doctors and staff at the Clinic are the best in the world since they have strong empathy and treat every patient with care and respect. The clinic has several facilities like: •Specific help for people suffering from diabetes, hypertension, etc. •Virtual Exercise due to the pandemic •Walking groups to help seniors to be active •Dietician on staff •Flu shots •Pharmacy •Etc. etc. I have not come across a more professional and comprehensive health clinic in Toronto with such caring and dedicated staff. My favorites are Dr. Obnamia, Crystal Ward, Suzan Yang, Jacqueline Joseph, Azra, Michelle, Poonam and others.

Dr Obnamia always has some attitude when I try to talk to her. The nurse practitioner isn't any better. She literally rushed me out of her office because she has another patient. However I wasn't even finish talking about the concerns that I have. She said "if it's not life or death we can talk about it some other time"

I’ve been with this office for a decade. Dr. Bokore is extremely dismissive, negligent and crass. He is never prepared for appointments, never reads through the file in advance to have an idea of how this follow-up appointment relates to the prior one. On a basic level, he should have an idea of why he’s calling me/meeting with me. I’ve had an ongoing medical issue for almost 2 years and I had to literally ask him to write down a list of my symptoms so he didn’t continue to ask me the same thing over and over again every single time we met. If you ask for a referral to a specialist for certain things and he finds it “unnecessary”, he denies your request, almost as if it costs to get a referral and the money is coming directly out of his pocket. You leave the appointment feeling so deflated. If you are LUCKY enough to see a specialist, when the results are sent back to him it’s almost as if he struggles to understand the information in the referral and can not properly communicate in simple english what the findings are stating. When questioned on what he’s saying he gets irritated and offended. So ridiculous. If, “I can’t be bothered” was a person, it would be Wasira Bokore. If I could rate him lower, I would. If I could turn back time and choose another doctor, I would. Don’t waste your time.

Canadas public health care system has many flaws and often times the doctors and healthcare teams have to bare the weight. That said I feel as though Dr Obnamia and the team do a great job to hear out there patients and follow up in a timely manner. Thanks for all your work and efforts :)

I've never had any problem with my doctor, who is Dr Obnamia. She listens well! I've been going here for more than 8 years, and will continue. I've referred this place to a couple of people and they were afraid because of all the negative reviews here. Maybe it's the call, because I did have a problem with them picking up my calls. Later on I was told by the receptionist how if I even listen to the voice recording in the starting it is mentioned some specific times they will pick up the calls, and afterwards no one is going to. It's usually during the walk in hours.

Dr. Rikhye is such a bad person. He’s so dull and always looking at his computer instead of me. Bad quality experience. He’s so boring, seems unexperienced. He gave my friend antidepressants without even letting her know only her person knew kept it behind her back. He is such a horrible doctor even if u hate yourself do not go here he sucks

Dr. Sikri is by far the worst doctor I’ve dealt with. He does not bother listening to you, dismisses your concerns. He does not want to give you any referral to see a specialist. Several occasions he refused to hear the whole reason as to why your even there, jumps straight to conclusions saying its all in your head. In past, my dad was exhibiting signs of a stroke, he had the audacity to ignore his symptoms and sent him home instead of a hospital. I don’t understand why even choose this career if you don’t care about your patients. I am surprised he’s still in business. If you care about your and your loved ones health, do NOT go to this doctor. I wish the rating was in negative. He deserves -5 starts. Pathetic doctor.
