The gear performed very well, I'm grateful to Bob and Kim for their expertise. Previously, I've purchased down hill skis, boots and snowshoes, all expertly kitted out for me! Buy locally owned!

I went in to college sports in early November to try to get my 17 year old daughter fitted for new equipment as a Christmas present. We struggled as she is very tall. After several long visits, I always left having the feeling that he was trying to charismatically wordsmith a fit based on what he had in stock. Today, upon retuning from a two week work trip, I came to realize that the skis we had ordered were in fact discontinued. My wife called while I was away to check in on the progress of our order and he told her he was too busy to take her call. She asked to leave a number for call back, and he said No. In my discontent to get to the bottom of why we weren’t notified earlier, he deflected responsibility and hung up on me. It should be noted that my family has spent thousands of dollars in this store over the years. I will never return to College Sports. Complete lack of effort on their part. Very upsetting considering how hard we tried to support local.

More than 8 years ago I bought Atomic Slalom skies and now Rossignol All-Mountain skies including new Atomic ski-boots. Before Christmas we discussed three different brand-names of All-Mountain skies. I ended up buying the "cheapest ones" with Look-bindings. I just came back from eight days of skiing at Big White, east of Kelowna, BC. What a difference with these new skies are?! Fantastic skiing experience - either on groomed run or in powder or through the trees. - Two years ago I skied my older slalom skies at Big White - but the new ones made a huge difference. Bob, Thank you very much again for your knowledgeable advise.
