★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to get a propane tank exchanged here because a neighbour said they were a bit cheaper than the PetroCan where I had exchanged my last one. The fellow there was not exactly friendly and said that the date had been altered on the tank I was exchanging. I said it was rather odd since I had just bought it up the road late last fall. I had no intention of buying another tank since I already paid a deposit on that one. I did get a refund (because I had prepaid) and went up the road to the PetroCan where I had exchanged it last fall. They cheerfully took their tank back and gave me a full one exchanged. Clearly, they didn't have any issue with it and said nothing about "altered dates". I could be wrong, but I had the distinct feeling that the Bishop Lake fellow merely wanted a larger sale. In any event his mannerism needs improvement which I won't see since I won't be going back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here twice with negative experiences. The first time they were closed during normal business hours with no explanation. Just recently I called to ask if an item was in stock which it was . Spent 20 minutes driving here to find out its cash only for a hundred dollar item. Not sure who carries that amount of cash on them any more. It would be nice to support local business but this is just unacceptable in 2021.
