It was a monetary transaction. I always felt rushed while asking questions, like it was an inconvenience to them. Forward a few years later I was at my Schutzhund club. We were talking about breeders. Someone mentioned to look further up north. So I decided to look on Instagram. I happened to find Black Kraken Kennels from Canada. I sent out an email. Crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Then Stephanie contacted me. She literally spent an hour over the phone with me. Asked me so many questions even I was surprised. She was so polite. Yet so knowledgeable about dogs. Stephanie & Jamie are so passionate about their dogs. You can hear it when they speak to you about them. She asked about my preferences, what I plan on doing with the dog. Weather I plan on participating in any dog sports or just pet dog. During the entire process she continued to send me photos, videos and texts almost daily. Even after I picked Blaze up. We still stay in touch. If I have any questions about him. I know I can always text her and ask her. She has become a part of the family. And will always be. We are so happy we went with Black Kraken Kennels. They’re the best German Shepherd breeders that you can find around.
C	Christina Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t say enough good things about the BKK puppies. I’ve had GSD’s all my life and this pup is by far the smartest one I’ve ever had. I received him at 9 weeks old, he was pretty much already potty trained and crate trained. The first night in his crate, he was quiet and content. He woke me when he had to go out and go potty. His drive to learn is amazing. He is an IGP Schutzhund prospect and I have the highest confidence in his genetics that he will thrive and make a great dog on and off the field. I can’t wait to see what he can do. Jamie and his crew are amazing at what they do with these pups in the first 8 weeks of their life. Maddox has no reaction to loud noises what so ever. He’s curious, confident & loving. His personality is by far, hands down just amazing. I would recommend BKK to anyone looking for a working line GSD.

As for the puppy, she is not only STUNNING, but the smartest dog I have ever come across. She came to me at 8 weeks and was well behaved, could walk on a leash, handled every new thing like a champ and I know it’s the dedication they get from the breeders since birth that made her so amazing. I feel that not only did I get a perfect pup but I literally gained the best training and advice from BKK for life.
