Cloud Nine Canines - Dog Daycare

Great doggie daycare place with lots of both indoor and outdoor stuff for the dogs to do. They also offer bathing of your dog for a fee. I've been to a few different daycares and this is one of the better ones. Would definitely recommend going here and I do to all my friends and family.

Do not recommend!!!!!!!!! When I picked my puppy up from her first day there, the staff said nonchalantly, "she's limping, this can happen on her first day." No big deal (or so I had thought). I walk her to the car and she jumps into the back seat. When I get home and try to pull her out, i noticed that she was shaking and wouldn't move. This is when I noticed a substantial amount of blood. Turns out EVERY.single.pad on her paws had been ripped off to expose her raw, bloody flesh. Every single toe had blood seeping through cuts and she could barely stand. One of her dew claws was ripped and covered in debris. I had to take her to emergency where she was sedated to get all the gravel and rocks and debris out of her open, infected wounds and she had to have all 4 paws bandaged for weeks before she could put her full weight on them. Don't forget the hefty vet bill, medication and a giant cone to top it all off. To be clear, a ripped paw can happen to ANY puppy who has not built up the callus on their paws--especially since their indoor center is all gravel. I do not think in any way that there was anything malicious going on behind closed doors. That said, what I did not appreciate was when I left a lengthy voicemail telling the owner what had happened, and asking for her to call me. She didn't so much as send me a text. I left two voicemails following up and nothing. From a professional stand point, I also found it very odd that the owner had taken time out of both of our days to give me (and my puppy) a tour of the grounds but didn't think to follow up or care when I cancelled all my subsequent daycare days after my very first one. It made me feel like my dog was just a paycheque to her and my dog's safety really didn't matter all that much as this is one of the only daycares in the area that accepts new clients/large breeds. Regardless of their lack of empathy or follow up with me after my first session, I was very disappointed that the staff member had visibly noticed she was limping and injured but didn't think it was important enough to so much as lift one paw, and inspect it. I honestly think there are too many dogs, and too little staff to properly care for their safety.

Tilly loves all the ladies here. They are so sweet, friendly and really make an effort to connect with you and your pet. If there are any issues they are more than helpful. When I drop my dog off in the parking lot, she has no issues leaving me and she comes home exhausted everytime. Thanks ladies <3

A world class facility. Tons of space for the dogs on a massive acreage. Great setup, and great caring staff. The best daycare in the lower mainland, hands down!

I have brought my parent's senior beagle and my own 4 month old toller puppy to Cloud Nine on 2 separate occasions and I was very satisfied with my experiences! The daycare staff are wonderful - they answered all of my questions and gave me a full report of the dogs' visits at the time of pickup. I really liked all the different areas available & utilized throughout the day, and I love how the staff add seasonal features, like little pools & sprinklers for the hot summer days. They keep the dogs safe, well-behaved & happy!

I couldn't say enough great things about this facility if I tried! The staff there are incredibly kind and genuine and the space gives our four legged babies plenty of room to play and socialize. I love brining my dog here knowing he will be well taken care of! Both me and River boy thank you!

Very professional and responsive. My dog was happy when boarding there for almost 2 weeks but when we picked her up, we had to deal with a situation with her bed and the attention we received plus the customer service offered was fantastic! I strongly recommend the location, the staff and management and hope to use their location as a second home for Skye.
