Best Vet clinic anytime and anywhere. Been bringing our labs to their Dr's for many years and the level of compassion, professionalism and good old fashioned client service is the best you will find. Service is always in the language of your choice, in our case, English. Thank you to all the staff.

I had to put down my 16 year old Chihuahua and this was the only place around that I could book a appointment with because everywhere else was fully booked. On June 6th I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment and they told me to wait outside and they will call me when they were ready. An hour and a half went by until I gave up and called them about my dog, I went in and they refused to let me be with my dog for his final moments even though I was wearing a mask, sanitize my hands numerous times and promised I wouldn't touch anything, they still refused and I was even told that I can go to a different vet if I don't like the rules but I couldn't let my dog suffer anymore, I had no choice. They even had exam rooms with a chair and tape box around the chair, I explained that I wouldn't leave that taped box I just wanted to be with my dog for his final moment of life. I've had my dog for 16 years and I couldn't comfort him and tell him I loved him while he drifts off. Even over a month later I'm still bothered by it. It doesn't even end there... They told me to wait outside in my car while they put him down and they will do it as soon as I go outside and they will call me once it's done. I waited over 20 minutes and still no call, I called them and the receptionist said "oh yeah it is done" and then I had to beg to see my dog one last time. This was a horrible experience and I will never go here again I will travel back to aylmer to see my regular vet (it's almost a hour drive away). My mother in law had to put her old dog down also in April when COVID-19 was extreme and she was able to be with her dog, I should have gone to her vet.

Honestly, one of the best services ever. Helped me treat an umbilical hernia for free from home. Neutered my dog and left no scar. My dog was up and going the same day. Professional and super communicative and friendly. Would reccomend in a heart beat and have.

Price - Keep in mind the prices are already very high for vet services in general, but their prices are by far the cheapest. When originally looking for vets, I inquired about the cost of certain services and they were half the price (if you don’t believe me, call atleast 3 vets and ask them what a cat spay would cost and if shots are required. The difference in price is crazy) My dog has many health issue and they have always considered different options to making the price reasonable. They do not seem to push services onto me but rather explain the service and confirm if I want it done or not. My dog is also a picky eater and we have gone through many brands to figure out which is best. They even informed me that if she didn’t eat up to a certain amount and only had a few bowls, I could return it. When my dog was spayed + other health issues, the final cost was very high and they threw in a free bag of food. They have gone above and beyond to show that they are not a money driven company. Care- In regards to care for the animal, they are amazing. They have phoned me countless of times for a follow up on how my animal was doing. when my dog was spayed, they took a photo of her after the procedure and sent it to my email to show me that she was up and doing great. My dog loves going there as they always welcome her with back rubs and treats. The only reason I left a 4 star rather than a 5 star is because one receptionist is the worst. There’s always going to be that one bad apple..

Was searching everywhere for affordable vets in Ottawa and nothing can match Buckingham. The drive from Ottawa is around 30 mins but it’s so worth it. The price for neutering is reasonable and affordable with amazing care. They were kind from the start to the end of the neutering. I highly recommend if you are searching to get your pet neutered/ spayed take them here. You’ll save so much and receive the same service or even better than most vets in Ottawa.

Our sweet doodle had cancer. Today we had made the hardest decision to put our girl to sleep and no more suffering. The staff was amazing. Helpful. My four kids, husband and I were able to be with our girl till the end. It’s never a easy situation to say good bye to a fur baby. Thank you so much to all the staff today.
