Nick, the stylist knows how to handle hair. He has done my hair for several years and he's been exceptionally consistent. Excellent cuts, trims, and styles.

Got a super cheap hair cut ($12 if I remember correctly) that looks great. Very nice hair dresser too!

Terrible hair colour from the owner Nick. I went there to have my hair highlighted. I brought a picture as a reference, left there with GRAY in my hair and terrible highlights that are more ORANGE than blonde ? And I also have random bleach patches in 3 different areas. LOOKS HORRIBLE! If I could post pictures here I would. I called him a few days later (after washing my hair a dozen times) I asked Nick if he could fix my hair to make it look like how I requested it and he told me No! Such an absolutely horrible way to run a business!!! Also, he ONLY takes cash as payment =shady.

I've been going here for years now and it's my favourite place to get a haircut. Great Value.

Don't let the price fool you. Nick is easily one of the nicest and most down-to-earth hairstylist in Vancouver. I always look forward to visiting!

I've only been here once and really enjoyed the experience. A friend who was a long time customer recommended it to me so I decided to give it a try. Going in it didn't look anything special, looked like your classic Asian hair salon with the typical seats and mirrors and posters on the wall. The owner is the only hairdresser there, so he does all the work himself. I'm told he has an assistant some days but that's mostly it. First impressions--he seemed pretty nice and easy going. Normally I get a bit anxious at salons because I'm quite self-conscious and worried about how my hair will end up. But something about him just gave off a really laid-back but professional vibe. He seated me, and I showed a quick picture of the style I'm trying to go for. He really only took a second to glimpse at it and asked, oh, you want to go that short? I said yeah, is that okay? I have an incredibly round face, I'm not sure if I can pull it off! He said he thinks I can and told me not to worry, he knows what to do. And I believed him! Throughout the process we had mild chitchat and I would remind him that I don't want him to layer my hair too much because I needed that extra weight to cover up my round face (see what I mean about being self-conscious!) He reassured me the whole way through that it'll look fine and to not worry. In the end, just as promised, he styled my hair similar to the photo I showed him (again, he looked at it for only a second TOPS so this was impressive; I'm used to going to places where the end result doesn't really look like the photo and I usually let it slide), and showed me the cut at different angles to make sure I was okay with it. He actually took a lot of time to cut and blow-dry my hair layer by layer as well, and it made me feel like he was very professional and meticulous in his craft. Overall as a first time customer I was impressed and felt like I could trust him with my hair--will definitely come back in the future and become a regular! Prices are also reasonable and affordable, I would recommend going to this place at least once to see how you'd like it. At best you would find your new favourite go-to hair salon, at worst you'll still look fine and it wouldn't cost you an arm and a leg. TL;DR: I enjoyed this place and was happy with the results and plan to come back!
