I went to a different vet for my dog in Ottawa, got a better price to put her down and recieved a heartwarming card and gift from the doctor personally. Here they are only after your money. Not helpful.

Cut me off when explaining my dog's situation to tell me with a sarcastic tone "unfortunately with Covid we don't take on any new patients." Give me a break do you help animals or not? It's not difficult to follow suit with other businesses and take proper precautions. Besides that, what difference does it make to covid If I am a new patient or not??? Very dumb, will never go here or recommend it based on the stupidity of that interaction.

I wanted an appointment asap because my senior dog's health was deteriorating but I was told that I would have to wait a week for an appointment. I was very disappointed that after all these years of being a regular customer and explaining to them that my dog was not doing well that they could not see me any sooner. Although this clinic is not an emergency centre, they should try to accommodate long time customers especially in a situation like mine. I hope they find a way to accommodate the next family in the same situation!

L	Laurie S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Peterson is very experienced and attentive. I was able to get an emergency appointment for our dog when it was vomiting and had bloody diarrhea. And I felt the feedback/treatment was in line with the symptoms. It is ideal if patrons do some reading so they understand enough to have an educated discussion about pet care.
