β β β β β Very frustrating experience working with this branch. Very difficult to get a hold of anyone. No one ever answers the general line, and rarely do they call back. My banker was a no show for our telephone appointment and no one called back to reschedule. Lack of knowledge with transfering RRSPs. No one has any contact with "the back office" so they can't explain where things are at. I went in to speak with the manager and he was supposedly on an hour long phone call and would call me back, he didn't. I've been a customer for over 20 years and just had my spouse come to CIBC... Sad to say he isn't impressed at all.

β β β β β I had a terrible experience at this bank . No communication, and they would not return my emails or phone calls. I went to Scotia Bank for the same thing and got an answer within the same day. Save yourself the trouble and bank somewhere else. I would love my time back.

β β β β β Extremely SLOW SERVICE!!! Not enough till personnel. The offices with a person in each and no one in there with them should do till work as well to help people. Most employees need to be able to speak English clearly. Have a better understanding of what ppl want.

Opened up a bank account online, then went and picked up my card from this branch, Now there is a block on it.
For no reason
Just really inconvenient
Just called contact center asked them to close my account
well the blocked account
Just not needed if I can't use

β β β β β The worst customer service one could get from a bank. Donβt expect any customer service from this bank. Donβt take any credit cards or any other financial product with this bank. They only take money from you claiming service charge but no service at all.

β β β β β Zero access for handicap people other than a button to open the door. Once inside no greeters or concern over elderly people who are handicapped and using a cane. My spouse stood in line for quite a long time almost falling over and zero access to a chair to rest. Once up at the teller my spouse is also hard of hearing the male teller of (East Indian decent) was rude and would not speak up and told my spouse to stay behind the glass. This branch has no seating for handicapped people, does not care about elderly wait times and continues to give subpar service. My spouse fell outside the bank from the sidewalk and cut his head open as he was exhausted from waiting so long!! 100% unnacceptable

Terrible service. Employees are semi nice, but extremely unhelpful. Itβs like no point of even having them there.
Read other reviews, and realized they were all true. Service is terribly slow, and once youβre finally up to the desk, you end up literally doing their job for them.
I come to the bank once I cannot figure the issue out myself. YET they give a number to call that Iβve tried to reach more than 3 times, and waited more than an hour each time ! Once again doing their job for them. Extremely frustrated, because I work at the bank myself, and this is NOT how you serve your clients.
Once we figure out our issue, and thatβs IF we figure it out; weβre closing the account.
Worst bank to deal with.
