I go to simply deposit some money, and the lady states it will take too long so they take people behind me after I just waited in a long line. I am not really too sure why this happened, but I will definitely not go to this location again lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I had gone in to transfer funds that require both our signatures. We have been able to do this transaction at the home branch as well as at other branches in other cities. We waited in no line. The lady was rude and ignorant. She refused to help us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My spouse went in to exchange bills for change for the business he manages. He was asked to wait for two other clients to be served before he would be helped, even though the transaction took no paperwork and no time.
I can't see how this is appropriate, in any circumstance. Why should one person have to wait any longer than anybody else?
He was never asked for a client card, he was told "This will take a minute, sit over there."
There are also no cash services on weekends, so if you actually need to do banking on the weekend, go to RBC.
Terrible service, terms, employee standards. Just terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to exchange cash for change for my work. The lady forced me to wait to the side untill she helped other customers who were behind me in line, because she said it would take too long. The entire transaction lasted only 1 minute when I got my turn after the rest of the line.
They've also turned down my employees for cash services before, just outright refused because they don't personally use this bank. One of your main functions as a physical bank location is cash services, so you're just not gonna do your job?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just had a consultation with Sean W. , a financial services representative , and it was great! If you loathe banking appointments but really need to get things done, he’s your man. He was specifically inquisitive to know what I needed, eloquent is his delivery , and put up with my lame jokes. In my 20 years dealing with CIBC, this has been, by far, my best experience . Thanks ! And please, someone give the man a raise !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to pick up a new card, but instead of activating it, the teller deactivated my entire account and I didn't find out until going out for dinner when I had to pay. Fortunately I had another bank that was reliable, but no apologies or explanations were given for the blatant incompetence of a teller whom I have seen there for years now. It's embarrassing. Not to mention the constant problems with their new ATMs. This bank is a joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pls go to valleyview branch instead. Unbelievable bad experience ,I hv waited 1 hour for getting a local wire transfer done. As an former employee from retail banking, I can tell u the tellers don’t know what they are doing, employee standard is a joke. The guy messed up information so many times n he almost tear my own documents by holding them in a really careless way. Very Unprofessional n unhappy with this location. Never come back again.
