worst service every i needed to reset some stuff i waited in line for 27 minutes. Then they sit me downand give me there phone tocall the 1-800 number on the back of the card. When i was on the phoen they said that the bank should of been able to help me. The customer service man told me they were just being lazy and there was no reason for me to have to call them. Honestly if could i would just give them 0 stars. only reason i go here and not brentwood mall is because i have to walk. Brentwood mall branch is a 10/10

I booked an appointment with a manager and she never showed. I waited 30 minutes with my infant before deciding to leave. No one seemed to be concerned that I was waiting that long with a crying baby. One of the tellers is nice though.

The branch manager Patrick was so much help with my late fathers account. I originally went to two locations in Surrey ( Panorama and Newton) and they didn't know left from right. They kept messing up and dropping the ball. When I thought they finally figured out how to do their job, I found out they didn't. These Surrey locations didn't process documents and everything they requested I provided. One day I decided to go to Patrick's Cibc branch and he fixed EVERYHTING they couldn't do. When a parent passes away its such a hard and traumatic expierence and you would think professionals in their job can do their job. Patrick was able to fix the loose ends and made sure my late fathers account was taken care of properly. Cibc is lucky to have a great leader like Patrick within its company to take care of the needs of CIBC customers. No matter how sensitive or important it is. Thank you Patrick for all of your knowledge and professionalism.

I recently lost my mother, I went into the bank filled out the forms they had asked and my mother's account is still active. It has taken 2 months, their estate department is making an unbearable time even more challenging. You will not get good service at this branch.

This was my first bank when I was a kid. I tried putting money in because at that time I didn’t know I had to keep the account active. The Asian bank teller told me to make the account active, I have to either take out money or deposit. That is what I was doing, depositing money to active the account. Duh! I decided at 12 year old to close my account with CIBC because the way they treat their customers.

Horrible new branch model. Waiting hours to talk to a human. What was the point of this? This is how you lose a customer, Cibc.

CIBCs new model of tellerless banking is horrible. The machine screwed up my transaction so I had to travel far, wasting a lot of time. Time is money. And CIBC cares more about theirs than they do yours.
