★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most poorly run banks I have ever been to. I was a life-long RBC customer, have since moved to Tangerine and Scotiabank because of their abysmal service. If staying with RBC I recommend the Main & Hastings branch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The front needs to be managed better. Everytime I am in there I am literally waiting forever for service. Today I was the only one in line and still waiting for nearly 20 mins. Finally when a teller was free and after she clearly noticed I have been waiting a long time, she walked away into the back. No joke took me over 25 mins to get a roll of loonies and a roll of quarters. don't make it so inconvenient for me to take out my own money or I will take it to a different bank.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a major major problem depositing a $25K US personal cheque at the ATM into my US account which held over $250K US. The machine (in small print at the bottom) stated will automatically turn into Canadian, which I didn't see. When I checked my account the next day I could not figure out or so did a manager and clerk. Finally, I spoke in person to a manager Marcelo Barroca and he stated "the exchange has dropped and he only could exchange the US at a lower rate". In his office I stood up, put both hands on his desk, leaned over and stated if he didn't return my $25K US into my $350,000.00 US account I would pull him across his desk. He complied. The next day I emptied my US account along with my $1.1 million Cad. account. I'll never deal with the RBC again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a lot of personal problems and this bank had been very good to me. Even today I had a panic attack and they handled it very professionally with compassion. I don't understand the reviews for this branch because I can't go to any others in fear of my disability.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst bank ever.If this were my main banking institution I would have made a huge scene because the girl who works here has a serious attitude problem. Guess what? It’s your fault not mine like you tried to insinuate. Why would you throw my Visa away you received on the 1st but it’s only the 6th when I go to pick it up? Your office called me to pick it up and I confirmed I was coming this weekend…you blame me for “not answering” but in reality it’s the “new guys fault for not making notes”? Anyways thankfully Raymond was helpful and nice. Also you guys charged me for my statements when you said you wouldn’t.0/0 star bank & person. Avoid this bank and location like the plague.
