★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience. I had a guest Artist that I seen they were hosting. I was coming for a Raptors Game from Alberta. The artist did a great job and chronic ink had a wicked studio and awesome artists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely incredible! I had my very first tattoo done here and the staff were very polite and professional. Sofia, my tattoo artist, was absolutely amazing and made me super comfortable during what would’ve been an otherwise nerve-wracking experience. I would definitely choose to come back here for any future tattoos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got my first piercings from Maddy at Chronic Ink’s downtown location. Maddy maintains the highest standards and professionalism. Maddy was confident and concise. She was able to teach me about the anatomy of ear and how the piercing process would work. Maddy was quick to respond when I had concerns when I had accidentally ripped one out, she had an appointment booked for a follow up immediately. Both visits were easy and smooth Maddy makes it very easy as she is very personable
I will be sure to refer everyone to this location
Chronic Ink Downtown is a 5 Star location and Maddy is definitely an Asset to the brand

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend Julie and I came to get piercings with Vee - she was AMAZING. Super welcoming, and made sure we each felt safe and comfortable in our individual appointments. She was very thorough, and walked us through each step of the process including going into full depth about sanitation and after care. Her professionalism in combination with her great personality really made for a positive experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a tattoo with Matt yesterday and out of all my tattoo experiences (this is my 8th tattoo) this was the best one yet. The entire shop was very welcoming and a relaxed environment that made me feel very comfortable. Matt was an AMAZING artist that was extremely considerate and welcoming. I felt very comfortable the entire time, and this is now my favourite tattoo. Of course tattoos here are on the pricier side, but for the quality of the tattoo, the people, and the environment it is worth every dollar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recall coming here awhile ago and being re-assured by the artist she was capable of colouring in my piece with the water colour style.
“Please send me as many details as possible”
So I took her seriously.
Day of the appointment I get a call from the manager who informed me the appointment was canceled due to an internal policy regarding clients they don’t think they can please.
You asked for my business. You insisted I provide details and you cancelled my appointment with less than a days notice despite your artist insisting she could do the work and me reassuring her I would be happy with her style.
To anyone coming here, I get the impression this is a rotating door of aspiring artists being mentored by a few seniors. Key word “aspiring” if you don’t have the skin thick enough to handle a client properly then don’t accept the work in the first place.
Clients would do best to go to a more senior artist instead of wasting their time after false promises.
But hey at least I got my deposit back. I am happy to say their Markham location is superior in service despite being smaller.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely time here! I got an absolutely amazing tattoo done by Cheon, who was incredibly kind. Even though English was not his first language, he was very communicative with me via email before my appointment, and worked hard to get my design perfect. It was a memorial piece, and I was overwhelmed with emotion at the end because of how realistic it turned out. He really brought life back into her eyes in an amazing way. Truly a fantastic artist, and so mesmerizing to watch. The staff were kind and the music was good, truly nothing to complain about here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my first ever tattoo here by Shem, and he did a phenomenal job! We had great conversation while he was tattooing, and he made me feel very at ease and comfortable. He took my reference photos I sent and made it into his own style which I loved, especially since I did want something unique. I would also like to thank the front staff as well for being kind and making the whole process from booking to paying at the end of the session quick and easy! I was made aware of everything including pricing before hand, and had no surprises. The only "complaint" I have would be that the prices are quite steep compared to other shops, so make sure you really want the tattoo to make it worth the fee.
