★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is what the name suggests, a defunct rail line conversion. Flat bucolic-ish and semi industrial. The trail is mostly covered in crusher-run limestone the kind that gets in your shoes instantly. Pass on this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Potential Truck Route coming. We live close by and have used it several times. A lot of people take their pets or family for a walk or bike My concern is the New Truck Route that the City of Hamilton wants to run through the trail on several residential roads that cross the path. This will become so dangerous for pedestrians and cyclist and terrible for the environment and wildlife . I hope people research this and tell The City of Hamilton to make trucks drive on highways and leave this area protected . Is there anything this city wont destroy ???
