★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had fun tonight with the family and friends. A little expensive for one hour of bowling for the family, but none the less, the atmosphere was perfect for weekend fun. Staff was very attentive for our large group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really not sure here... on the one hand we did have fun, but at $50 per hour, plus shoe rental, it seems a bit expensive. Also calling it "glow bowling" is a bit of a stretch. There are a few dark light, but only back where the tables for food is. There wasn't any glow lights in the actual lanes... it was more like bowling in low light. So needless to say I felt a bit mislead.
This place is located in the basement of Chinook. The only part of the mall that has never ever been renovated. I haven't been to this bowling alley in probably 30 years and I swear it hasn't changed. I have a feeling if they really did put in lots of glow lights it would end up looking like a crime scene from CSI. All sorts of mystery stains glowing on the floor and walls.
So if you're in the mood for some over priced old timey bowling I say go. You'll still have fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took three kids and Grandma bowling today for some family fun. First time since covid shut things down in 2020. So although the kids are "older", they arent experienced.
This visit had both positives and negatives.
Stair case to bowling alley is still dingey and as smelly as it was when I was a kid but the alleys themselves appeared to be newer and well kept. Also the shoes (shoes should honestly be included in the price of a lane) were new, which was nice. Shoes should be included inthe price tho, cause it's not like you can bowl without them.
The disappointing part of this family outing was that the staff refused to put up the bumpers on the lane because our kids were "too old" the younger ones are 11, as of a few days ago. They don't bowl regularly, they arent destructive and let's be honest, bowling isn't fun of all you get are gutter balls. At one point I had one kid in tears, ready to give up. A nice staff member came to offer some tips which was nice but this rule is ridiculous. The family beside us had grandparents ricashaing their balls over the rails! Families should be able to decide if they want the rails or not. It's not like you don't charge enough to fix them when they break. We've never been denied the rails in the past at other alleys. Based on this rule alone we will take our bowling business elsewhere and I highly recommend if you're going here with amateurs you also go elsewhere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is absolutely disgusting. The nachos tasted like flavourless cardboard with 3 pieces of tomato and burnt cheese. The fries tasted like freezer burned garbage and the food was overpriced. The staff was nice and place was clean.

The lady who works the front register (we visited January 30th at about 7pm, I didn’t quite catch her name) was one of the kindest, funniest and sweetest staff I’ve ever met anywhere. She truly made our night and we will definitely return for her kindness alone. The bowling and snacks are fun too :)
