The I want everything store. Great customer service. Fabulous selection. Some things are a bit pricey but of course excellent quality.

After assuring the gift giver of their extremely generous return policy they wouldn't accept a return because they stopped accepting Christmas returns three days ago. Looks like a cute store, would have certainly spent quite a bit of money there. Luckily for me there are thousands of other places to buy kitchen wares.

I purchased an expensive manual coffee grinder from this store. When I came to the store to return the item, two grumpy sales assistants said that as the item was used they could not return it and they pointed to the narrative on the sales receipt which said that items cannot be returned if used. However, in front of the cashier window, was prominently displayed the terms and conditions for return items within 14 days with a receipt. And no mention was made that if the item was used, a refund would be denied. When I pointed this out, the rep. realizing the mistake, hastily removed the notice from the window before I had a change to take a picture of it with my iphone as "evidence". She stated that what the sales receipt says is what counts and failed to acknowledge that posting a misleading terms and conditions notice where customer would first see it, was irrelevant. My family have gone to this store for some 20 years and put up paying 20% more than online prices to "support local", you can be assured you will not see me in there for a long time. I recommend buying these expensive items from Amazon where the return Policy is terrific. Horrible customer service.

This place has beautiful stuff, it's so unfortunate that the customer service is so toxic. I went in yesterday to buy a gift for my husband. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a woman who said hello. Normal, right? A man entered right after me, and she said "are you with the man holding the door behind you?" I said no, and tucked away to the tea section to look around. I heard her say, can I help you? I assumed she was talking to the man who had just entered...but another few moments later I heard her say louder and, "SO should I walk away...or not walk away?". I turned to look, thinking that was a strange comment, and realized she was talking to me. I told her I was just browsing. Very weird. I was browsing when I heard a woman try to return something she had purchased as a gift. This same woman said no, they have a two week return policy and it had been two months. The woman tried to explain politely that she had purchased it for a gift, it was unused, and hadn't been able to get there until then. This sales lady started YELLING at this poor woman repeating herself about the two week policy. I couldn't believe it. Policy or not, don't yell at your customers. I was shocked. Another customer tried to purchase something, and this same woman started ranting about how it was one per customer as she stomped around the store. Finally, I was purchasing the gift for my husband and she said, "guess it's all about the booze this Christmas". If it was the only comment, I would have shrugged it and the aggressive tone she used off, but after the series of events I was ready to leave and didn't want to be in her presence anymore. I feel so bad for this store, I don't know if she's the owner or manager or what, but she needs to go.

Helpful staff, wide selection of kitchen essentials, and great prices. Easily at the top of my list for my kitchen needs.

We’ve been shopping at Chefs edge for years, primarily for le Creuset cookware. In the last year or so we’ve noticed that the staff working is very unfriendly. I feel like they’re very judgmental of their customers and I felt like the last time we were in there they treated us as if we were stupid. I don’t think I will continue to shop with them, I have found lake house to be a better option, with better customer service. It’s a shame, because I love supporting small businesses, but when there’s no good customer service… there’s no reason to go back.
