Avoid of this company. I am so disappointed of Home Depot to work with this company, Allan Jackson was responding my message before charging me and selling their service but nothing after the purchase, I was charged more than authorized payment and they didn't accept their responsibility to fix the problem at the first place, I hope home depot check their contractors and their services. I supposed to get 10 years warranty from this company, means i stuck with them for this duration. Please stay away from this company .

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I contacted Home Depot to have my mini split air conditioner repaired due to leakage. The unit is no longer cooling my condo. A technician from this company came (Home Depot uses subcontractors which I was unaware of). The tech stayed 20 minutes, told me I may or may not have a leak, he added some gas and said if I wanted a repair I would have to make another appointment. He quoted me a price of 400$ + for the repair on top of the 220$ he already charged for 20 min of nothing. After he added gas to the unit I told him that the unit does not appear to be as cold as it usually is. He said that normally these mini split units takes approx 4 hours to cool things down. I have a 12 000 btu unit and as soon as I turn it on it takes a short period of time for my whole condo to cool down. He then suggested I add a fan to push the air faster around the condo. I’ve had my unit for 6 yrs and I never had to add a fan. If i put the unit at the lowest level I usually have to wear gloves, a hat and a sweater in the house, that’s how cold my unit can get. After he left there was absolutely no difference. My unit is still not cooling at all. That’s how they swindle you!!

I have never had an issue with these guys since I purchased my thermopump 2 years ago. They were fast and polite and professional each time I have dealt with them (my unit was purchased through home depot)

I can highly recommend Walter Wilson since - They were honest in figuring out what I really needed for my HVAC system. Did excellent quality work with attention to detail. Great communication, consulting me when needed during the install to figure out exact details. Didn’t rush the install and properly cleaned up after work - I've never seen another contractor clean up so well. The system is working great so far (3 months on) and when I thought there might be a problem they were very responsive. There turned out to be no problem after all.

I was thrilled with the service and quality of the products. Huge thank you to Allan Jackson for quickly identifying our needs and recommending the right products at a reasonable price. We are in a 50's oil-heated bungalow. We work at home and needed AC before the summer heat wave. The old oil tank was at risk of leaking, so Allan recommended switching to electric at the same time as getting a heat pump. He prepared a great deal that included the removal of the oil tank, purchase and installation of the new electric furnace and the Trane heat pump. Allan provided detailed instructions to apply for and receive government rebates for switching to electric. Bonus was the payment plan for the job was interest free for 3-years through Home Depot. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. The quality of the workmanship was impeccable. Allan followed up to make sure everything was to our liking. Highly recommend.

I will start firstly by stating I'm not your average customer, I expect the best for my money, no short cuts. Walter Wilson installed my system a year ago now, and it has been working flawlessly. I tend to research my purchases in depth prior to making decisions, and this purchase was no exception, after all it is a big $ investment. The salesman was on the same page as me as far as my needs, Quebec has reasonably affordable electricity, so my decision was to buy a very efficient heat pump, but not a super efficient unit which is much more expensive, and likely big $ to service in the future. So we settled on a combo Trane electric furnace and heat pump. Installation was great, all performed with great care and diligence. After completion, I did my own inspection, and did have a couple of concerns. The main electrical connection to my furnace was performed with aluminum wire, (copper wire in this gauge is very expensive) I'm old school and this concerned me. The other issue was the main exterior unit was simply resting on its installation brackets, not bolted down. The owner himself personally came to my residence to confirm with me that all was correct. I did my own research again and yes, today aluminum wire is very acceptable due to new style connections specifically designed for aluminum wiring, my insurance company has no issues with the install. As well it is the industry norm here to simply rest the units on their supports on isolation pads, so again all is good. So who else would go over every detail of an install after completion verifying details such as these? I highly recommend the team of Walter Wilson for your heating and cooling needs.

Once I contacted this company, the representative Drew B. was very attentive to what I was looking for. He spoke perfect English and made sure I understood. I felt very confident with my choice. He thoroughly explained the Reno Climat program and made sure everything was all set for me to receive the credit. When it came time for the installation, Norman D. and Richard S-J were punctual and very organized. Their clean up was impeccable. Overall, I was very pleased with the service from beginning to the end. I highly recommend this team and this company!

I need to replace my gas furnace so after I made some price inquiry I decided to take the proposal of Chauffage WW witch was financed by HD. It was convenient 18 month without interest, even it was pricey than the others. Meanwhile I buy some type of thermostats in the idea to chance the old one witch I suspect was malfunction cause my heat pump seems no working . They install the new furnace in one day, so I had heat the same day. I didn't convince them to install my new thermostat, they runaround me with words. Tried to ask them to connect the second stage directly to the thermostat : no need was the answer. Bring me a paper to accept the job. The second next day my heat pump start to life, I never heard it in two years in the winter. But the furnace blower refuse to start so the coil became little hot. I tried to put the blower on On and Auto, by no sign of working. So I put the furnace on emergency heat and try to contact the company. The blower works on emergency heat. Again they deflected my request me and finally call me to propose a visit next Monday. I look attentively this time around the furnace and see a splice outside the box; could be the culprit? Don't know, but now I am afraid that it is voltage on that conductor. The furnace is installed shifted relative to the plenum of the house above with no progressive transition. The sheets metal are fixed with longue screws but one joint on the side back is wrong fixed. So waiting them to came against next Monday, to explain these problems, install the new thermostat and correct the wrongdoing with the striped wire and the splice outside the box; permit again the thermostat control on the blower. I hope is not to much for them and I will pay the new thermostat installation . Hope after that another star or two. Drew came and corrected the wiring near furnace, put again the control on the blower, install the thermostat. Now I can choose fan type, auto, on, scheduling. Heat pump come now and then, so I disable it when is below 7 Celsius. Hope in the spring get the guys make the maintenance, maybe it can be resuscitated. I am satisfied by the purchase that is why there is 5 stars now.
