Chartwell Ballycliffe in Ajax has some of the worst care I have ever seen - these people are lazy and incompetent and are 11th in Ontario for Staff to Resident abuse.
J	J Flo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place doesn't look like much, set in the middle of an industrial sector and right next to the fumes and noise of the 401. You couldn't pick a worse location for a seniors home. I contacted them wanting to volunteer, it was months before the administrator got back to me. Her reply wasn't particularly friendly - I was put off volunteering there. Now I see that they had a very high death toll for COVID-19, over 30 from what I read. Such a shame for the seniors who lived here and had to end their life that way. I'm glad I didn't volunteer, I'm vulnerable myself and wouldn't have wanted to be the 31st victim.
B	Barbie “B-A” Cameron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They cut my Mom's beautiful nails to the quick until they bled, more than once. They did not feed here quiet often. They left her with bed sores, not getting her up enough. I visited weekly and most time, she was in someone elses wheel chair. Had to get a lawyer for this and move her, but it took almost 2 years to get her out. I will never go in any home, no matter what, kill me first! This was 20 years ago, but still can't get it out of my mind.

She's been there just over a week and we've tried to call MULTIPLE times and left messages so she could feel included for the Easter weekend since she's in isolation right now. I want this resolved immediately and you should have staff on the phones at all times for emergencies. 100% absolutely unacceptable. Update: someone in management called my girlfriend today to address issue. Thank you.
