He says the meals served in the dining room are first rate. He enjoys the activities and appreciated that opportunities for one-on-one activities with staff were available when group activities were restricted during the height of the pandemic. Thank you for all that you do!

Every single person goes above and beyond to make sure that the residents feel special and valued. The sense of community and “home” is ever present. Our father is extremely pleased to be at Alexander Muir and we are reassured every day that he is in great hands.

I had to remove my parent in less than 24 hrs. I was told it was for independent living, however over the phone it sounded like exactly what we were looking for.

As her son and only child, I wanted to ensure that mom's best interests were always first and foremost. I was referred to Alexander Muir Retirement Residence by a friend who had a wonderful experience as her father needed the care that a seniors home can provide. Aside from being in her home, this has been the very best choice for where mom should be! The staff at Alexander Muir are kind, compassionate, empathatic, and show great patience as the resident and family member(s) go through the process of settling in to their new environment. Their understanding of the emotional process is second to none, and their attention to meeting specific needs for mom has been exceptional. We made a very good choice choosing Alexander Muir Retirement Residence and I would highly recommend this organization to others who are faced with making this important, life-altering decision.

The meals being served are top notch and the staff are wonderful at making various occasions feel festive and special for their residents. The staff are always so cheerful which makes for a very positive atmosphere. This past year and a half has been such a difficult time and they are all to be commended for their efforts in maintaining a safe environment.

I sing and play my ukulele and specialize in the old songs that the folks know so well. It was wonderful to see them smiling and enjoying the music and singing along. The staff are very welcoming and I always enjoy my visits.

My mother was so nervous going there at first but was quickly made to feel like a part of Alexander Muir family. They offer lots of fun and interesting activities and great meals. Our family loves the peace of mind that our Mother is living in such wonderful surroundings and with so many dedicated and kind staff. Thank you to all the top notch staff at Alexander Muir.
A	Annette Langford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is extremely happy and helpful. Location is great for me as I’m 5 minutes by car. Residence is clean and she has a nice room. My mum loves the food, hairdresser in the building and the variety of entertainment. She went to Ripley’s aquarium just this week at the bottom of the CN Tower( there was an extra cost to this outing which was understandable but most of the entertainment is included) It has been a huge relief to me to know I can go away for a week or two to visit my grandchildren and not have to worry about her when I’m gone.
