The home itself has a charming atmosphere, the staff were incredibly friendly and offered to show me the model suites in the newly renovated building. Coffee and cookies were served and they were DELICIOUS. I would recommend anyone considering a move to a retirement home in Aurora stop by for a tour. Kingsway Place definitely has something special.
Z	Zoya Gorbachova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, inside and out. Entrance was nicely done, but there are three steps to get up to the second floor. Maybe there is another entrance to the main floor. We were here for the piano recital, my daughter played among other kids. This was kind of love entertainment for the residents. They served us very nice coffee and tea with two kinds of sugar.

I have attended various events, seminars etc. over the years and must say this place is the absolute best. Staff are amazing and since the renovation it is even more beautiful. Highly recommended.

As such you have an expectation of a certain standard of care that you are paying for and it was promised but not delivered. if you have problems with the staff which were rude at times, slow to show up after pushing the emergency button average 15 mins, totally unacceptable, don't point it out, management stood up for staff not you, you were always wrong. The food was okay nothing special very small portions unlike what they promote. The residents for the most part were pretty decent and friendly. I can't believe people sell their house and settle for something like this long-term at these prices. There has to be a better way in the private sector to support our elderly and disabled population!!
J	Jay a on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Praise to Kingsway staff and management to look after someone directly from hospital to a retirement home at the age of 103 during a pandemic, 2 years in and they are thriving. The loving and caring staff have worked so hard over the last 2 years to make sure everyone is safe and all activities carry on as permitted. The entire staff go above and beyond, even working double shifts as required by difficult circumstances caused by a pandemic. You could not ask for a better environment to call home for a family member who needs the support and care provided. The dining facilities are top notch, when joining our family member we have been nothing but impressed with the quality and quantity of the home cooked food and attention to special considerations the staff provide. Beyond the amazing staff the residents are kind and care for each other as a family. Any and all issues that may arise (as is inevitable) are dealt with in a timely manner and taken seriously to ensure a proper resolution. Thank you, Kingsway team, for everything you do. You say that a “Warm & Friendly Welcome Awaits You” and I have to agree truer words have never been spoken.

Kingsway Place creates the environment you would dream of for a most beloved parent. Actually, I can't say enough about Kingsway Place. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the building, but it is the people who work there that are truly making the difference. As a visiting nurse and daughter of a resident at Kingsway Place, I can honestly say that the staff genuinely have each resident's best interests as a priority. The staff work diligently to keep everyone safe. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. My mom is always telling me that she is "happy" and the staff are "all so nice". The accommodations, food, cleanliness, and activities are also top notch. This has been a great move for our mom, and she is in a place of support and care. If one can no longer maintain a home, but can still mostly manage independently with the reassurance that help is at hand if needed, Kingsway Place Retirement Residence is the place to be.
