S	Susan Chris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be aware of the level of care you choose. If you are very independent this may be a great place. But if you require more care, e.g. assisted living, be aware that they skimp on PSWs , the doctor on staff was totally not competant to care for elderly. My mother almost died in their care, had she not fallen and been rushed to the hospital, with advanced congestive heart failure, Afib, urinary tract infection , open legs weeping fluid. Was told all this was normal for an older person (88). Luckily was able to get her into Del Manor Elgin Mills , where she is now thriving.

Even with 154 residents, the staff say hello to my Mum by name; the chef greets residents at mealtimes and my Mum's minor requests are responded to instantly. Beautiful building with contemporary furnishings, manicured grounds; delicious meals with plenty of options - including steak, crab & ribs!; excellent programs and service offerings, including raised flowerbeds for those who wish to garden without backaches!; thoughtful consideration to social events and pairings; discrete outdoor patios throughout to entertain; and rigid screening to protect the health of residents. My Mum calls this place "top drawer"!

Their diligence in caring for my family, not just during stressful times like covid, but ALL the time, allows me to know that my family is in the absolute best care available. Everyone I have had the pleasure of dealing with at the Renoir, who has cared directly or indirectly for my family, has empathy, compassion and patience. Thank you for giving my family, a place to call home.

We have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitude to the management and all the staff at Renoir. Their individual care for each resident is outstanding. The past 15 months was very difficult on both the staff and residents and Renoir did everything in their power to keep everyone safe. We are looking forward to everything getting back to normal, so our Mom and all the residents can get back to enjoying life as they knew it prior to Covid.

She is always saying how wonderful the staff is, so respectful and caring of their well being. The building is clean and well maintained, good food! Over this past year the management & staff have worked so hard to keep the residents safe. I would recommend The Renoir to anyone who is looking for a retirement home.

At all times we found the staff to be very competent, caring, and compassionate. Their interactions with Mom, who suffered from dementia, were characterized by patience and kindness. The building and grounds are well maintained. Mom enjoyed the food and participating in the varied activities and social opportunities on offer. During the pandemic, management and staff did everything in their power to keep the residents safe. We can confidently recommend the Renoir as a great option for a retirement home.
