M	Melanie DaCosta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I returned my rental on the day expected. There policy is 30 days to get your deposit thst would be mailed to me. Waited over 30 days to see if a check would come, it did not. When contacted the Barrie location on Monday, they explained that the return would be done via e transfer. The associate who picked up the phone, said a request would be put into head office and a transfer would be sent in 48 hours. Yet again being patient called back on Friday to follow up on my refund. Again the associate said shexwould call head office personally to follow up and ensure the transfer and would call me back. There was no call back, or transfer sent. Called back the following Monday, only for the Associate to say yes you will have your deposit back today by 6pm. Called back again at 5pm to let them know I still haven't received anything and it is now 5pm. The associate exact reply was "I'm not sure why your calling, its not 6pm. When I asked for her name she said, well you don't need my name. So here we are still no e transfer. I don't recommend this place to anyone, although they come off as if everything is ok, there customer service and ethic is horrible. They even weren't accomadating to my insurance company until we told them we are returning the vehicle. I'm not sure what some people think the definition of customer service is, but its not them.

If they have your credit card information, I would recommend cancelling the card IMMEDIATELY because they will make unauthorized charges to your card without your consent. They are shady in the way they conduct business and don't seem to care about their customers. They were listed on Google under their Barrie location (304 Dunlop St W, Barrie, ON, L4N 7L2). Just look at the reviews there from other customers. Now they use their Woodbridge office as their main location to ensure you don't see the complaints they've received.

And then guy called me 100 times and threat me to remove that review. Unprofessional people and no quality services. You better go somewhere else.

We got into an accident late at night and these guys brought a rental car to us to use since our car needed to be towed. They were super friendly and everything went smooth through the whole process with my insurance. Would definitely recommend them, and glad we could get a car so late at night.

I unfortunately got into a car accident in December 2021 on a snow day and searched high and low for a car rental company but almost all popular car rental locations had either no available cars or over charged. The towing company that removed my car from the scene passed my information to their partner and family owned company, Certified Car & Truck Rental. I got a basically brand new vehicle the next day, delivered to my home, easy and quick. Communication and being accommodating from the start of this with Certified was spectacular. I had the car rented for 67 days due to insurance issues and even on the last couple days before returning the car to Certified, I experienced problems with my insurance yet again and Certified guided and helped me get to the bottom of it. Thank you to Certified Car & Truck Rental for everything and I would suggest anyone who gets in a problem or situation to definitely seek them out. They have locations in Barrie, Woodbridge, etc. and are more than willing to help just like they helped me.
