As I found myself further interested in the Psychology field, I found myself wanting to grow further in the Counseling field of study. Robert was very approachable and helpful; he helped answer all the questions/concerns I had to the best of his expertise, knowledge, and abilities. Because of his words of inspiration and motivation he passed on to me, I am now more able to confidently navigate through my career path more effectively. I will take the words and motivation he has passed on to me, to pass on to my future clients in the future and aspire to become like him one day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first experience seeing a therapist and Robert Roopa made it that much more remarkable. Specializing in OCD & Anxiety – which I was diagnosed with in 2019, has helped me tremendously. I can now say after 4 months of intense therapy that my OCD & Anxiety is more tolerable, manageable & something in MY control.
This wouldn’t have been possible without Robert constantly supporting, counselling and understanding everything that I was going through. Robert did more than just your usual therapist would, responding to an immense amount of text messages, calls & emails throughout the weeks/months of therapy made my experience that much more effective.
I would highly recommend Robert Roopa – someone who is trustworthy, personable and VERY intelligent and passionate in his practice.

Robert is patient and sincere; he does not say what we want to hear, Robert says what we needed to hear. Through out our sessions Robert taught many different “ tools “ to help cope, learn to hear what is being said not just listen, improve on communication skills and self love. All which helped evolve to a better version of me. To this day I am grateful for our session and all I was taught.

His warm, grounded, and authentic presence makes it easy to let your guard down and open-up to talk about your concerns. I view him as a trusted confidante.
Robert is compassionate while also being engaged and direct, leaving me feeling seen and heard. I believe that I can extend trust to Robert during our appointments as I feel he acts in my best interest and I am assured of the upmost confidentiality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very professional. After my initial phone call, I was contacted within a day. Phone intake was done and my husband went for his first appointment within that week. That was very important for us as a lot of places have long waiting lists. My husband is not a trusting person so I went with him for his first visit. There was no need as he felt at ease the moment he was met by a staff member at the clinic. Robert Roopa gets right down to business. Homework was given after each session. Because direct pertinent questions were asked my husband has quit a 13 year addiction after just 5 sessions. He is feeling physically and mentally fantastic. The depression he has dealt with since a child is gone and he is ready to start living life to the fullest. You have changed both our lives. Thank you just does not seem like enough.
