We bought a couple of stools from CASA CHIC, these stools are made in Indonesia. I’m really like the shape and grain of the wood add a natural warm feeling to our kitchen, no to mention real leather!, it took couple of month to arrive but complete with the wait, we love them. Paola was always sΓΊper profesional and answering all our enquires. The store carry bohemian style furniture very particular pieces and lampshades you don’t find another place like it in Canada I 100% recommended CASA CHIC

I also had a similar experience to Mia B below only my journey started in March when I ordered 3 stools and paid in full. Similar scenarios to the below which I don't have the time or energy to document here but long and short was Paola sold me stools, messed up communication on a number of occasions, wrong container/right container, stories about increased prices of shipping but no indication that existing customers costs would increase. Told me the stools arrived but then said it was a mistake - "that was a different container" etc etc etc .. it was a long saga only to end with my stools arriving in December a couple weeks before Christmas and being told I owed another $1000 plus tax in order to receive them. I was gutted!! Even if I had the extra money I wouldn't have paid. Paola gave the stories of force majeure and being entitled to do what she liked because of increase in prices and as Mia stated below, changed her Terms & Conditions since I originally purchased the stools. I totally sympathize with small businesses and increased costs. My husband runs a small business as do some of my friends and they are all horrified by the behaviour of Paola. I have just renovated my house and have bought and waited for many items over the past year from other small businesses and I totally didn't mind. Nobody charged me extra for what I ordered and paid for already. You recoup your costs my increasing your future costs not penalizing existing customers!! I was not going to write a bad review because I hate the thought of my opinion hurting someone's business but this is appalling behaviour and Paola has behaved exactly as I thought she would when someone gave her a bad review by being defensive and calling someone rude as she did with Mia below. This is very unfortunate because this store has beautiful stuff and I would have loved to purchase more items from them, even recommending them to friends and designers I know. I'm sorry Paola but you can say what you like here but you have not behaved in a honourable or professional manner. I do hope you learn from this and treat your customers better in the future.

We had ordered a beautiful chair, very unique in its style and size. Waited awhile to receive it, however Paola was ever so personable to reply to my frequent inquiries. Once the chair arrived I was notified immediately to arrange a pick up date. The chair was more beautiful than expected and the workmanship and quality of it was like nothing imagined. In fact I have already ordered another and picking it up soon. All and all it was a pleasure to do business with Paola and Casa Chic and look forward to more well made products in the future.

The buffet we purchased from Casa Chic (which we are using as a media unit) is beautiful. It’s very deep so we can store all the kids toys, etc we want out of the way. The quality is great, and the pickup experience was great. We follow them on Instagram where they post some great deals in their stories if you can snag it before someone else does. Highly recommend this store!

My decorator gave me the address of CASA CHIC and I was able to find a lot of great decorative items! The customer service is incredible and delivery in Montreal is very easy and affordable. I just wanted to share this little secret with all of you who are crazy about trendy furniture and home decor!

I do highly recommend Casa Chic as your source for great quality Rattan Items and Bohemian Accesories We purchased the Paris Day Bed in September 2021 and received in late December 2021. Despite all the delays due to the pandemic, Paola was there every step of the way to provide updates and reassurance on shipping. She was so helpful throughout the purchasing process as well and we even received a discount for first time purchase. Over a month in and we are so thrilled about our new Daybed. A huge thanks to Casa Chic for making this such a seamless process!

We have ordered Bar stools from Casa Chic for our Cottage in Muskoka, they took a couple of months with shipping delays but absolutely worth the wait. Paola the Manager, and their team were responsive with timelines and always answer all our inquires , we will keep buying others items soon, Thank you we love them !
