★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the small diamonds on the side of my ring was lost during resizing. When I picked it up they stayed they had checked and tightened all the settings, now just over a month later one of the larger stones has come out of it's setting. Prior to having the ring resized it had been worn for 10 years with no issue and had been cleaned and checked over once a year.
I don't feel comfortable bringing my ring back to this store for the required repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible return policy ? My husband bought me a necklace for Christmas, I did not like the style so I returned to my local Carters Jewellers. They would not refund on the card, okay fine. The wrote a cheque which took over a week to arrive. Went to retrieve the cheque but was not allowed to pick it up as it was in my husband's name... The necklace was a gift to me - the cheque should have been in my name. I would have been okay with this if at the time of return the staff would have told me about this policy. Have asked my husband to never purchase jewellery from there again. Better price and return policies at People's jewellers or Micheal Hill in my opinion.
