Staff including owners were friendly and went above and beyond. For the few months that my vehicle was in the shop, I received weekly phone calls updating progress, that included Carstar also updating applicable insurance companies that assisted in rental vehicle extension.
Staff understood the inconvenience of not having your own vehicle and instilled confidence that they were doing everything they could to complete in a timely manner.
On receipt of my vehicle, the work was like new and everything worked as it should.
I more than recommend the team on 54th ave in Red Deer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was directed to CARSTAR from my insurance company after my vehicle was vandalized, the estimator did little to help me and instead quoted me over $1500 in additional fees excluding my deductible and told me if I did not like the quote to go somewhere else and that he would just clear it off his desk. Felt like they did not want to help me as the customer and did little to help find alternate options that would be more affordable or worth using them as a business.

It was a really great experience as they were all very friendly and professional. This is my second time dealing with them and all I can say is you won't be disappointed if you are looking for professionals who will do a great job and take care of your vehicle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My new suv got hit on Christmas and decided to have car stars fix it. And I highly regret it now got it back 4 months later still damaged. The hatch got pushed in and they re used the damaged hydraulic arms. Body lines are way off. Still damaged on the other side where it slammed the snowbank. And management is a joke just laughed about it and shirked all responsibility. Turned a long stressful process into a nightmare. I'd find any other shop if your thinking about this place terribly disappointed.
