★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NOISE FROM THE HEATING PIPES. THIS GENERALIZE IN THE BUILDING? I DO NOT KNOW. AFTER 6 MONTS OF WAIT THE BUILDER HAS NOT YÉTI DONE THE REPAIR.
EVEN THE PIPE INSULATION CANNOT BE SOUND INSULATED.
IN THE BUILDING, THE HEATING SYSTÈME IS SO BASIC THAT A DIGITAL THERMOSTAT CAN NOT BE INSTALLED.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience from sales to build. Things got bad during warrenty. Our entire upper floor has a defective carpet with ripples throughout. Over 1000 square feet of an UGRADED product we paid extra for.
We took possession in January 2018, reported the problem in February 2018, and still no resolution or plan to replace this product. Now we need to make a claim with Alberta New Home Warranty.
The flooring contractor was Mint flooring.
Very disappointed with the warranty process with Cardel Homes. When we will build another home, we will not be returning customers. Did not expect this from Cardel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starting from designing the house, we didn't had an clear view and no proper explanation. No porch roof and stand up shower on wrong side. Upgrades are ultimate WASTE of our time and money. They don't worth for materials used by the builder. Within a year, our house needed a lot of things to be fixed. But all none of them was accepted or either fixed by Cardel. Builder said it's not covered under your warranty. For example, walls had small pops due to the settlement of the house on ground. Cardel scrubbed the pops and left it as such WITHOUT painting. We had to hire a painter to paint those pops all over the house. Scrubbing is covered and painting part is not covered in warranty. Our neighbors also not happy with their purchase too.
Sales person and designer team will be so good to you until possession date. Then Warranty coordinator will show the real face of an builder!
I strongly DON'T RECOMMEND CARDEL for New house owners!! Very problematic and stressful builder!!!
