Deceptive with shingles/roof repairs warranty. At the time of purchase it was indicated to us that shingles have a warranty of 20 years. However, the whole roof required complete replacement after 10 years. They will also give you 50 cents worth of bathroom accessories to force you to upgrade. Maximum profits so they may continue to maintain their residences in Florida and take their Ferraris all over the world to race with other profit takers.

We’re about two months away from taking possession of our home in Blackstone and from the day we visited the sales office, we couldn’t be happier. We’ve bought a new build before and never experienced the customer service Cardel offers. Betsy and Natalie from the sales office were very helpful making the buying process easy; Sorcha from the design studio with her great suggestions and quick response to our questions; and very recently, Darryl D. the Construction Site Supervisor. Darryl provided us with multiple time slots for our framing walk through all which I couldn’t make. My wife went and was provided with tons of helpful information about the home and how to best save money on heating and cooling costs by using the features Cardel has provided us. Since I couldn’t do the first walk through, Darryl kindly offered to do another after the drywall had been installed. He walked us through our home again and had more helpful advice on how to maximize the features of our home, the type of insulation used, the placement of duct work. What was most astonishing was how Darryl seemed accountable for the work his contractors had done. For example, a vent in the bathroom seems to be too close to an exterior wall preventing a decent flow of circulation. He pointed this out and he will take the time to talk to the tradesperson to move the vent. Darryl isn’t going to live in this home yet he will do whatever he can to make the home suit HIS high standards. We didn’t feel rushed during the walk through and he answered all our questions. Darryl’s wonderful work ethic and obvious dedication to make Cardel one of the best home builders shows. Please forward this review to Paul Blinn - VP of Contruction for Cardel. Not professional Business experience, They suddenly changed and suspended their commission program and I couldn't get from them the Agent cooperat agreement signed ! I send email to Betsy ! I have been working hard with my client for several months but Cardel Homes waisted my time and services. !! I will not refer any of my client and Business to them any more ?

I became the proud owner of my first Cardel Home back in 2015. I have experienced the process before and was pretty clear about what to expect but I can't say enough about how impressed I have been with every individual I had the pleasure of dealing with. From Jennifer to Lindsay to the Dave's - the whole experience was outstanding. This team goes above and beyond. So pleased with the beauty and quality of my home, that when I made the decision to move again I did not even consider any other builder. With 100% confidence, I went ahead and bought a new Cardel home in the Blackstone. I move in six weeks! -Marianne

I would avoid Cardel. Not only are their home designs dated and not worth the price, they are introducing new measures(auctions) that will increase the cost of purchasing a new home and make it even harder for first time buyers to afford a home. Look to other builders that don't do this for your next home.

I bought my Cardel home in 2017 moved in just before 2018. The whole experience has been amazing. The sales people were kind , caring and so helpful. The building team also amazing. The foreman who continuously went above and beyond to allow us to be a part of the building process has made my experience great. Now doing warranty items and also once again the staff and employees are kind, helpful, respectful and really seem to care how my home turns out. My representative is also amazing she is constantly following to make sure all is well and that everything that needs to be done is done. I highly recommend Cardel and I truly can say they have made my home buying experience a true pleasure. Thank you all involved.

My partner and I recently purchased a Cardel home and although we haven't moved in yet, so far we are satisfied with the experience - both with Lynne at the Sales stage and with Jenny at the Design stage. When picking our selections for upgrades, Jenny's knowledge and expertise really came into play in allowing us to design our dream home! She was always on the ball, and most importantly we never felt rushed at any of our meetings even though we went over our allotted time.

Terrible builder. The house has many issues to begin with. Warranty service unwilling to repair items on the list. They will try to find any excuses to avoid fixing the issues. I have a crack shower pan, they send a contractor repair the crack and after 6 months, the crack comes back again. Cardel refuses to replace it, just want to re-patch it to pass the 1 year warranty period so that home owners deal with the problem after. When contractors damaged my home when building other homes, I reported to the warranty service, they told me not to contact them which Tarion instructing me to do (to report right away). Cardel told me not to contact them as I am only allowed to contact them only for 30 day and 1 year period. Cardel said they are not a maintenance company. Whenever contractor damages something, they will give you a hard time to repair and when do repair it, they says they are doing it as a curtesy. Totally irresponsible builder. Worst builder I have experienced so far. Stay away if you are looking to buy a new home.
