They were prompt with my quote and showed up at the scheduled time. Based on some other quotes I got I was very happy with the price as well. I was really impressed with how tidy my front yard was after they left. My neighbours used another company last month and they had a bad experience which is why I'm here doing a review.
R	Rob Taggart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Capital Tree Service along with their owner, Steve Taylor, really stepped up to help out a local charity "Community Living Victoria" by donating his time and equipment for them to hold a Christmas Tree Chipping for Charity. This was the not-for-profit's first fundraising event of this type. They have had all of their previous events stopped due to Covid-19. Capital Tree Service showed up each day. They also left their truck and chipper each day in order to draw attention to our event, as the size and presence of the truck and chipper no doubt made a difference in attracting people to our site. The torrential rain on our first day didn't stop Capital Tree Service and fortunately, we also saw a number of brave souls venture out to support this worthwhile cause. Thanks Capital Tree Service for your support and generosity.
J	John Clarke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On August 1, 2017 at 3:30pm in the afternoon, a tree branch, 18" diameter at the trunk, cracked and nestled onto an adjacent tree and our hydro line. I immediately called BC Hydro, and they sent out a crew to inspect the situation. They called Capital Tree Service at approximately 4:00pm and they were here within 45 minutes. They did an exceptional job taking down the large branch, removing and chipping it. My wife was nervous about other plants in her garden and her tomato patch. The crew was respectful and caring.

The job was less than half complete when they left with no word, no approval or conversation. Work ticket submitted as complete, followed by a phone call asking us to pay our bill. LOLZ. No calls for rescheduling for 2 weeks. After some pursuit the job was completed, and completed well. The return crew was beyond amazing. They delivered exactly what was expected the first time, asking how we liked the job etc... Our tree is new again, our yard amazing. Thanks for eventually doing the job right ..

A	Adam Warren on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Response below is BS; notwithstanding the fact there was work done a few months ago for BC Hydro on Marigold Road, that work completed months ago. I literally follow these rigs drive from Carey to Interurban using Marigold Rd as a shortcut - exactly what the bylaw intends to avoid. Seems unfortunate your business is prioritizing your crew's convenience over the safety of our shared community. We'll make it easy for you and forward the footage to both the bylaw office and Saanich PD who can then pursue as a traffic violation. Reached out to ask why this shop can't adhere to the Saanich truck route bylaw and instead continue to drive massive rigs past our local playground; zero response.

From the lovely woman that answered the phone only two days ago as I was panicking about the tree branch on my roof, to the transfer to another man who was already on a job, and from him sending another fellow over to access the damage and give us direction!!! Today only the 2nd day two young men arrive and skillfully look after the branch and take down some other danglers in the tree!!! We are looking forward to having your company back in the spring to clean up the tree, but for now we can sleep at night, bring it on wind!!!
