The decision to create Capital Gear was made after much discussion, research, and a leap of faith! Faith in Gerard’s vision to put all of his years of knowledge to work for his own company. Through a lot of hard work, long hours and determination, Capital Gear has grown from the kitchen table and two people in 2005, to a 25,000 square foot facility with 20+ employees today. The secret to success for Capital Gear is the focus on customer service. To this end, Gerard has worked very hard at establishing good relationships with many suppliers, in order to be able to tell customers Yes! We Can!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a remanned differential from this company. A month later, the first time that the power divider was engaged it failed. They refused to warranty their part. Thousands upon thousands in parts costs, lost revenue etc etc. I suggest the anything but Capital Gear method for your drive train components. Friendly voices but will not stand behind their parts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There parts are extremely low quality. I suggest staying away from them. I had to replace a steering gear on a truck 3 times and each time the new gear came with up and down play in the pitman arm shaft wich would end up blowing the seal eventually and capital gear said the play was acceptable. Finally got tired of dealing with warranty and down time and ended buying an oem one as expected there was absolutely zero play in the oem one. There parts are significantly cheaper but I strongly recommend spending a bit of extra money on something higher quality
